I won’t be going back. I’ve had endoscopies before and have walked out just fine, read the newspaper when I got home, even if I wasn’t ready to climb every mountain. I’m a doctor myself and asked the anesthesiologist prior to my procedure (which lasts all of 10 minutes, maybe) what the drug protocol was. He told me and then I woke up totally gorked. They used different drugs than I was told about and at such a dose that I was loopy for the next 2 days. I couldn’t do much beyond sleep and act confused. The score is so low because there was no way to contact the anesthesiologist to talk about what happened.
