Went for lunch and had the sesame chicken with pork fried rice with the egg drop soup. All the things were the best versions I’ve ever had of each, and I’ve had a lot of sesame chicken in my life. It was slightly crispy with just enough sauce and a good amount of actual meat on it. Wish I lived closer because this is my new go to Chinese restaurant.

I’ve tried several Chinese restaurants in Newark and this by far beats them all. The steamed vegetables dish is amazing. Personally I am not a good cook and this way I get a huge, Delicious helping of more varieties of vegetables than I would know what to do with on my own. They offer the dish with either brown or white sauce(I prefer the brown), and I like to pair that with the orange chicken dish. Those two entrees carry me through about 4 meals. Not bad for under 20 dollars, healthy, and I don’t have to cook! Also, I love that this place is family run and has a home-like vibe. It’s really cozy. You can often see their kids sitting at one of the tables doing their homework or coloring books, or sometimes the older boy tries his hand at the register, and other times all generations of the owner’s family and employees are all eating a meal together. Just a happy, relaxed atmosphere :-) Also — and this is a big plus for me, they are one of the only restaurants to be open in inclement weather, a little fact I discovered after having nothing of substance in the house during a really bad snowstorm. I can tell you there were a lot of grateful customers in there that day. Hats off to them for being awesome!

My extended family and I visited here on the last day of our trip to Delaware for Christmas break. The food was good and enjoyed by all. I found the sauces a bit sugary(American) for my tastes but it was still good. Also, while the General Tso’s chicken was tasty, it certainly wasn’t spicy but to each his own. We were the only people there at 2:30pm for a late lunch. I suspect they do a decent take out business but they have ample room in the dining area as well. They also offer free WiFi, though I didn’t try it myself. The place has been there for years and it was one of my late father-in-law’s favorites. He was native born Chinese so that may carry some weight with you as well.
