Halal Fest

Halal Fest was pretty awesome. It was crowded but not TOO crowded, unlike the Ramen Fest in SF earlier this year. Halal Fest charged a small admission fee, however we found that they didn’t check your wrist bands at all upon entry! Seemed kinda pointless to buy a wristband if you don’t need one…
But we’re here to talk about food — There were many little halal food stands and food trucks. We waited for one of the longer lines and the food was amazing and totally worth the wait. In fact, the wait was so long that people pretty much stopped lining up due to a decrease in crowd size as the day went by… So we went back for seconds!
Final thoughts:
— Should have gone later in the day to avoid the crowd
— Should not have paid for admission as they did not check
— Halal food is so good
