My uncle told me this is where his «breakfast club» meets every Saturday morning. He also said it’s the best breakfast around. Pulling up outside I had my doubts. This is a small bar that looks in need of a coat of paint. Walking in, my expectations dropped even more. The first thing I noticed was the peanut shells all over the floor (this is 8:15am). The walls are decorated with pictures, local newspaper sports stories, and funny bar signs. Our waitress was very nice, and I found out was the local county treasurer. The menu was small and basic. I went with the Farmers breakfast, which was home fries cooked with peppers, onions, and ham, covered by scrambled eggs and cheese. I had a side of the sausage gravy to pour over top. WOW. I was blown away! That with a cup of coffee and glass of O.J. for $ 8.25. You cannot beat those prices. A lot of the regulars we spoke to also said they have some great specials through the week. The next time I’m in town, I will be back. You can’t judge a book by its cover!

The pub isn’t fancy but the food and servivce was great. All you can eat Walleye on Friday night. 2 dinners and 2 Beers for $ 24.00 it’s small so you may have to wait for a table to open up.
