They’re not very many options to eat in terminal a. Java Moon is basically the only quick service food place that I can see other than Ruby Tuesday. I got a cup of coffee there and it was solid. However if you have to eat anything you are going to be sorely disappointed. Definitely try to bring some food with you before coming into terminal A.

5.98 for a bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich from the only game in town. It was solidly disappointing. On a bagel would have been better, but I’m not sure that was an option. Anyway beggars can’t be choosers– there’s nothing else on this spoke of the A terminal.
The cashier was great– super happy and friendly and had several awesome purple braids!
