Wide variety of options; calzones, hoagies, pizzas, pizza slices(Sicilian, grandma style, meat lovers, peppers and mushroom, etc.). Very reasonable prices and speedy delivery. A great lunch spot in the Newark area.

We came here for lunch, it’s a small place nothing fancy but the pizza is awesome! We also got knots which were great. One of the guys with us said he comes in weekly and I can definitely see why.

Just past the first rest stop in Delaware. Very easy on/off 95. Pizza was fantastic and very inexpensive. Had a delicious white pizza with garlic, oil ricotta and leeks. Delicious! If you are looking for pizza in Newark or while passing by on 95 this is the place.

We have now stopped here 4 times going up & down I-95 from DC to NY as it’s a mere minute off the highway, and shopping center offers a convenient spot to tie up our dog under a tree. The thin crust NY style pizza knocks it out of the park — honestly think it’s better than legendary Joe’s in Greenwich Village in Manhattan. Husband loves the Sicilian deep-dish. I tried a slice of the thin-crust white pizza. Looked like fresh mozzarella on top, but turned out to be delectable ricotta, together with mixture of more traditional provolone/mozzarella. Probably whole-milk ricotta as quite rich. Best white pizza I’ve ever had, and among the best tomato-cheese pies as well. Prices are $ 2/slice & $ 3 for gourmet slice like white or w/toppings. Small pizza is $ 8.50; medium $ 9.50& large $ 10.50 so we always order the large plain cheese pizza and take leftovers back in cooler. Reheats beautifully. Not much ambiance, but older Italian owner watching soccer in Italian on the TV, together with Italians tossing the dough and baking the pies make this an authentic experience. Non-descript, run-down strip mall. Some homeless adults are living toward back of parking lot. We tie our dog up on pole in shade near them. Sad as they appear sufficiently intelligent to find paying job. Must have somehow fallen out of society due to lack of support/family/illness. We have given them some cash. No evidence of alcoholism. They told us on most recent visit that they sleep in the woods nearby. Woman was horribly bitten on her arms by insects. Unsure how I’ll feel if I see them in the bitter cold weather this winter, when I’m here to dine at pizza parlor. We have only tried the pizza as it’s so darn good. But other patrons are enjoying the pasta and the sub sandwiches, and many appear to be regulars. The bruschetta, offered with 2 different toppings, looks good. Prices for drinks are similar bargains($ 1.00 for a San Pelligrino limato or blood orange 12 oz can) Can’t wait to return for the white pizza on our next trip up & down I-95.

Wow Pizza. I’m giving this pizza place a five star rating for its pizza only because that’s all I’ve ever eaten at this place except for french fries. The french fries were very average nothing special. But I have to give this pizza place a five star rating because it’s New York style thin crust pizza is absolutely wonderful. They have delivery drivers that usually work from The local university so don’t expect to have the regular delivery drivers, and it is always someone new delivering. But delivery time is good to average. Let me tell you about this pizza it is hot, crispy, great quality cheese, quality toppings, and exactly what a great pizza should taste like. All their pizzas are wonderful. This is the kind of pizza that taste good the next day when it’s cold and really awesome when it’s fresh and hot! Always get the 16 inch because it’s a better value for two dollars more than the 12 inch. They also offer a 14 inch size pizza. And the prices are very reasonable, and you can get a nice 16 inch pepperoni pizza For around $ 14 and you’re getting what you pay for. They have carry out and delivery and I have never eaten inside the place but it doesn’t look like anything fancy inside when I drove by, but just your typical small strip mall, pizzeria place. My goodness this is such a good pizza I can’t stop telling you how good it tastes and you should go get some.

great subs and very friendly staff. Stopped here to pick up lunch yesterday, there was a line at the counter but they did not miss a beat when I ordered 8 subs to go.

Grandma’s pie is the best! Awesome eggplant parm also. I wish they were open on Sundays though. Check it out if you’re in the area

Couldn’t stand to eat at another travel plaza, found Mario’s on Unilocal.Called from the Delaware bridge and pizza was hot and ready when we arrived. Perfect balance of thin crunchy crust, sauce & cheese … A lot like New Haven style apizza. One star off for canned mushrooms. Price was right too. We’ll stop again next time we’re doing the trip from New England to DC and can’t quite make it home without food. Easy on and off I-95 as well.

My review is based on only one visit. And it is important to say that living in DC, I don’t have access to good neighborhood pizza, only gourmet vs chain, but not fresh, tasty everyday pizza like this. Great thin crust white cheese slice with creamy ricotta, savory tomato bruschetta. italian news on TV and an italian family from italy are the proprietors. Convenient stop off 95. I hate wasting a meal but was running out of gas — this was next door. I’d make a detour for white pizza like this! I’ll be back!

I have only had the Bruschetta pizza and the Grandma’s pizza here and both are FANTASTIC!!! You will smell like garlic for 2 days, but it is so worth it! There are several others I would love to try such as the Alla Vodka Sauce Pizza and the Stuffed Pizza but it’s so hard not to walk out with the Bruschetta pizza!

Called in an order, evidently at a very busy time. Ordered two vodka sauce pizzas, one pepperoni and one sausage. When we got there, the charge was over $ 50! Seems the guy didn’t hear what we ordered, which is doubtful since I heard him repeat the order back word for word, so he had two vodka plain pizzas, a pepperoni and a sausage pizza. My husband came out to tell me what happened and asked how to proceed. I told him I want what we ordered. The owner, possibly, was there and was quite angry. They basically transferred the pepperoni and the sausage from the non-vodka pizzas onto the vodka pizzas. The really horrible part is that we found a foot long hair entwined in our sausage pizza, as well as hair on the pepperoni pizza. Just sayin’!!!

When you want to get away from the headache that main st causes, I suggest Mario’s. Excellent food and good service. I’m from NY and it’s the closest thing to New York pizza in Newark, I highly recommend! The prices are also great.
