My Fair Nanny

My Fair Nanny is AWESOME. Here’s my story … My brother just got married in New Jersey. I live in DC, and my childcare plans fell through two days before the wedding. It was an adults-​only event, so I had to either find a great sitter or miss my brother’s wedding. (Not to mention I’ve only left my son with a sitter once before.) After the panic subsided, I called the hotel, who suggested My Fair Nanny. The owner, Kim, emailed me back quickly and said she had a nanny available despite the short notice. Kerry’s hourly rate was what I’m used to paying for a high school kid, but she arrived early with an enormous pink box full of crafts, games and toys. My son is still showing off the balsam-​wood racecar they built together. And they were spotted walking around the hotel’s garden, holding hands and laughing. From the very start, My Fair Nanny helped me feel like I was in good hands. And the second I met Kerry, I knew I’d made the right choice. She was fabulous and I got to truly relax and enjoy myself. I wish Kim would start a My Fair Nanny branch in DC — I’d start using babysitters more often.
