Parker’s Grille

Stopped with the family for dinner. Everyone was pleased with their food… Italian beef sandwich, chicken fajita wrap, cheeseburger, Greek salad, big honkin’ pickle, and chicken fingers. Place was busy for football on Sunday.

Parker’s is great! Over the last three days I’ve had a number of excellent IPAs, a fantastic Italian Beef sammy, and an even better Philly. It’s a homey bar in a homey town. But that’s not bad. The bartenders and servers have all been attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Next time I’m in Newark, I’m coming back to Parker’s!

This place was great! Great beer selection. Very good burger. And they serve curly fries! I love this place and will have to come back when I come back. Service was awesome. Staff was very attentive. Nice atmosphere. Wings were tasty as well.

This won’t be much of a review we had just moved to town so we were looking for a nice place to eat we saw Parkers lookd like a nice place so we went in they had prime rib special I ordered the prime rib special and needless to say it was delicious tender seasoned perfectly the Au Jus sauce was perfect couldn’t ask for more the best prime rib I’ve ever had called back the next Saturday was told we don’t serve prime rib anymore I said I just was there last weekend let me check the young lady said comes back to the phone no we’ve taken that off our menu we don’t do prime rib specials anymore very sorry to hear that. This all happened back in October 2014 only gave them two stars based on them taking the prime rib special off their menu have not been back so cannot comment on anything else if the prime where but still on the menu out of definitely given them 5 stars

Went here on a whim cause its been a while since they were reviewed… here goes.
Started with the Spicy Zucchini Soup. It sure was spicy. The only shame is even though it was homemade the sausage overpowered every other flavor in the soup and there were some chunks of sausage the size of meatballs. The fresh tomatoes zucchini and all else just got lost in the sausage flavor.
Oh well on to the ½ dozen chicken wings. I ordered all flats & it was a non-​issue which was a nice change. I ordered them well done but sadly they weren’t. The mild sauce was good & the wings a good size but had some feathers still in them. It was served with 3 2inch pieces of celery. Could have been more.
Then I tried the Beef on Weck with au jus & horseradish. The beef while not juicy was very tender and the roll very fresh. I had to ask for utensils to add the horseradish and it was good but unfortunately the au jus tasted like watered down beef broth. The curly fries were very tasty.
To go I ordered the shrimp basket with fries. It only comes with 6 shrimp so I asked them to double it and they only charged me $ 4 more.
Overall ok but would most likely try something else.

Fish fry Friday, sandwich is $ 8. Decent Haddock on a bun, with fries, curly or sweet potato, or steak options. Standard stuff, done A– OK. This place has definitely mastered consistency as it does not change.

Great if you don’t mind dining next to customers and their lap dogs!!! I personally found it to be quite offensive!

Standard bar/​pub grub done standard. The wait at lunch can be waaaayyy tooooo looong. For the area it’s a nice venue.

Great service, very good food and drinks! This place is another staple of the local area. I travel a lot to Newark and the area and for the local area and neighboring towns, this place is 5 star! Try the wings and their great selection of beer! Love it!

Good food and service. Great ribs. Pool and darts in other room.
