On our way back home we made a stop just to go to this popeyes. While I eat at poeyes, maybe once or twice a year, we knew we would rather stop here and have chicken than burger king. The popeyes is located in the back of the welcome center. The line wasn’t to long, but it took about 5 – 7 mins before we put our order in. The staff was friendly. The prices were ridiculously high, but expected given the location. The food was good. We ordered the 10 pcs chicken tender meal with fries. They were delicious. I liked how they gave us ample amount of dipping sauces. We will definitely go back.

We ordered 3PC chicken meal for $ 7.99 and found out drinks are NOT included. I think that’s excessive even for a Delaware truck stop on route 95… my water-an additional $ 2.50! But it’s very clean and the server was very very nice

The worst customer service I ever had. Cashier spend 10 min talking to a friend that was ordering while the line backed up. I finally got my order walked back to the trucking parking and realized it was the wrong order. The lady calling your order numbers was so rude to the foreigners. I would have fired her on the spot.

We stopped here from D. C… The line was massive but after a 5 min wait I got a pleasant cashier Brian. Then it went down hill! The person at pick-up Quuaire(that’s how it’s spelled) should not be working in a service job. The gentleman behind me chimed in and said«You shouldn’t be in a customer service job, if you can’t help customers with a better attitude»! The chicken was cold and then that manager who mumbled his name was absolutely CLUELESS! Those 2 stars were for Brian’s good service only.

If you see more than two coach buses at this place avoided at all costs. The staff is too young and cannot handle a large crowd my order was wrong more than twice and finally when I got the food it was stale which made no sense seeing the large mounds of food behinf counter. Might as well wait 45 minutes so you cross into jersey to get some food.

I love Popeye’s. This location disappointed. I give one star for friendly service, and one star because those biscuits were perfectly buttery as usual. But the fried chicken! We got three thighs, all were under-cooked — not like pink inside, but kind of soggy and not as crisp as usual. Also, they were particularly fatty, and I found myself spitting out bites three different times from just one thigh. I thought Popeye’s could do no wrong! Sad.

I am a lover of Popeyes but was disappointed with my recent visit. The skin was so oily not crisp and the meat was just sort of… grey. I would pass this Popeyes in favor of other locations. The guy behind the counter was nice but the quality of the meat was poor.

The chicken was good, but the biscuit smelled rancid like it was old.

This is my favorite Popeyes. When you order spicy chicken, it is spicy, unlike the Popeye’s around Rockville, MD area. We make it a point to stop at the Delaware Welcome Center when driving 95.
