Purebread is a decent option for a quick meal or lunch. This particular location is a little tricky to get to, being located in a corner of a big shopping center, but close to several medical facilities and the Christiana hospital for those searching for a place in the area. While they have a great variety of sandwiches, all cleverly named after dog breeds, the prices seem high for what you actually get. The vegetarian options are appreciated. They also offer catering and platters that are a good option for meetings, events, and special occasions.

Not bad for a chain sandwich shop. I had the Doberman and hubby had the Greyhound. Both were delicious.

I love Purebread deli! I always get the Chihuahua grilled on a Panni. The Chihuahua is chicken, pepper jack, avocado, L, T, O, chipotle mayo on cheddar bread and it is delicious. I also love their muffins grilled on a panni press with butter. They have wonderful sandwiches, salads and amazing soup. I love Purebread better than Panera Bread. They have a baked potato soup that is so flavorful that it will make you come back for more. Love this place!

Purebread is so delicious! All of their sandwiches are fresh to order and heir coffee is freshly brewed, the way coffee should taste. The staff is always super friendly and the theme of the pure bread animals is adorable. I had the potato soup and The Newfoundland sandwich today. Both were amazing! I definitely prefer purebread over Panerabread. I’m glad I work in the same shopping center so that I can order it for lunch all the time. They even allow you to call in and get your order together. I can call my order in and actually spend my break enjoying my meal.

This has been my absolute favorite lunch spot since I was in high school. Great food at a reasonable price. Always clean and staff is always very pleasant and attentive. I’ve never walked in the door and not immediately been greeted which is definitely rare. Plus the theme is adorable!

Had always bookmarked this place to try out and finally got to when I was in town for the holidays. Got a basic egg and cheese on a croissant and it was very tasty. Good size portion and service was quick and very friendly. Would definitely return.

I was immediately greeted as I walked in by a cheerful employee who directed me and took my order in an extremely friendly manner. My food was prepared quickly and presented in an equally friendly way. Good food. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Really worked out well while juggling appointments.

Me and my dad are making our way back to rhodeisland and happened to turn on 95. And where hit with a road filled with bumper to bumper traffic. We turned off as soon as we could. And ended up here. Lovely staff. Clean area. And a lovely theme. Turkey sandwhich was amazing. And the option of carrot or natural chips as a side was a great option as well! Completely enjoyed the experience!

A good friend of mine introduced me to this place and while I usually don’t care for delis, I think I’m in love with Purebread. The vizsla sandwich is bomb. I found myself craving one really badly one day and had to have it for lunch. Wow, it instantly hit the spot, and put me in a food coma within an hour, but it was so worth it.

This is my second attempt in coming here, first time was for lunch this time is for breakfast, and both times great service and good deli type food. If you are looking for a place meet, need wifi, coffee, breakfast bagel, or for lunch soup, and a sandwich this locally owned place is the way to go.

As a first timer & dog enthusiast I was blown away by the soup, sandwich, and muffin selection at Purebread. With such a large offering I expected the soups to be doctored from a can like their competition but I was wrong. The home-style chicken noodle soup had a spot on ratio of broth to chicken to noodle to veg. The carrots were coin sized and perfectly cooked through. The chicken was fresh, tender, and cut in nice size chunks-no fattiness. The broth was well seasoned & held it’s own against the meat and veg. The perfect cold, rainy day, get well soon belly hugging chicken noodle soup! All the sandwiches sound delicious but I finally settled on the Saluki, a warm roast beef on a ciabatta roll. The horseradish aioli and fresh red onion added a sharp note and nice crunch. The meat was so lean-zero fat vats as my sister would say. This was one of only a few sandwiches I’ve ever had where I reached for and finished the second half! Then there was the giant muffin, nearly the size of my head and covered in chocolate chips. Yum! My friend also raves about the red velvet muffin and likes the fact that Purebread will toast & butter your muffin if so desired. Who doesn’t want their muffin buttered?! The fresh brewed iced tea was also the best I’ve ever gotten from a sandwich shop. I love wordplay so A+ for the dog theme. I also like the fact that local pups and one of my girlfriend’s dogs is featured in their dog reel. My main gripes(based on 1 trip & a friend’s comments) are that the place gets crazy crowded during lunch hour, parking is hard to find, service is a bit slow and special requests on orders seem to be overlooked. My friend requested extra Brie on her shar pei which they forgot. I would easily pick Purebread over Panera and I plan on going back for lunch often!

I stopped by for lunch with my mom on New Year’s Eve day, since we were in the area to do some shopping. I’d visited once before and had a sandwich, which I remembered enjoying, but it’d been several years. I also remembered the unique dog theme, which I found interesting last time I visited. This time, I was more in a soup mood, so I was excited to see that they served soup in a bread bowl – one of my favorite lunch foods *ever.*(I’m still searching for a place other than Panera that serves soup in a bread bowl in Pittsburgh.) They had several interesting soup selections on offer, but the one that immediately caught my attention was the lobster bisque. Skeptical that it would contain much lobster, I requested a sample. While the sample contained no discernible lobster chunks, it had a delicious flavor. I was tempted to order it, but when my mom did, I decided to get the potato bisque instead for variety’s sake. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Panera, but price-wise, the offerings at Pure Bread seemed a bit less expensive(we paid $ 11). When our order was called promptly after ordering, I noticed that the bread bowl was smaller than those served at Panera, and when I bit into it, the bread wasn’t as crispy on the exterior as Panera’s. Nevertheless, it was quite fresh and toothsome, and made a good vehicle and dipper for the soup. The soup itself was exactly what I’d expect in a potato bisque, with large chunks of potato and small pieces of real bacon to flavor it. The flavor was a bit on the salty side, but it was still overall quite pleasant. After eating her bowl of soup, my mom said she also though the lobster bisque had a great flavor, but confirmed that she encountered very few pieces of lobster in it. Overall, my mom and I enjoyed our lunch here, and would definitely return in the future. We both felt that the soup selection appealed to us more than Panera’s, both in terms of its contents and its breadth. If you’re nearby and are seeking a deli-style lunch(sandwich, soup, salad), I’d recommend checking this place out!

First of all, we had two young girls attend us, who were smirking for no reasons and seeing each others face .Kind of insulting for anybody who is from another place. Their recommended choice peanut Butter and banana, gosh was too ordinary for the price.

Great food. Adorable atmosphere. Cute dogs all over. Food was really yummy. Family friendly. Everyone was really sweet to out 10 month old. There is a kids menu for those needing it. Also they offer carrots w the sandwiches instead of just chips. Only recommendation– they came by about 100x to get our tray when I was still feeding baby bread off of it.(There were plenty of open tables & we had been there no longer than anyone else– no need to rush)

First timer here. I was in a rush and I asked the lady, the cashier what she would get. She said the Jack Russel. I got it and it was amazing! The lady was very sweet and very polite! I am definitely coming back! :)

Stopped by for a Monday lunch. Place was packed. Staff was friendly and attentive. Kitchen staff was working their tails off and getting orders out really quickly. You can get a breeder’s combo, which is your choice of two of the following: ½ sandwich, ½ salad, soup, I had the half Hound Dog sandwich and the half roasted veggie salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Sandwhich was awesome. It’s a peanut butter and banana panini on sourdough. Highly recommend it, especially since most places just offer meat sandwiches. Salad was also very good. Greens and veggies were fresh. Vinaigrette seemed a little thick, though. The theme is all about the dogs. Even the sandwiches are named after dogs. Décor was also a lot of dog pictures and such. My only real gripe is that I don’t like the high chairs and tables. All the low ones were full when I was there.
