A real hospital, very unlike University hospital(shudder). Unfortunately I’ve had to go to the ER here like 3 times now. Twice was for asthma so I got treated immediately(because they have to). Most staff members have been polite and seem competent. A slight sense of «I don’t like my job and would rather not be here» but that’s got to be standard anywhere you go. I’ve been very grateful to receive the treatment and facilities seem clean and well-kept. Actually fairly quiet for an ER in downtown Newark… I would recommend going here in the case of a true medical emergency.

The inside of the hospital is very nice. Let’s get straight to the reason why I rate them one star. I applied for an open position and got the job. I was overly excited to start my new career. I had to do a drug test and a physical check. For some apparent reason I failed the drug which I couldn’t understand why. I called the hr department explaining to them that this must have been a mistake cause I’ve never done drugs, she seem careless and didn’t want to hear what I had to say. I even volunteer to come back in for another test but the lady I spoke with in the hr department didn’t want to help at all. So, I Went to my doctor to figure out why, come to fine out its because I eat Poppyseeds bagels often that’s why I failed the drug test… they ruined my opportunity. I hope they really shut them down and I even regret it more for voting for them so they wouldn’t shut them down a year before applying for the position. I wonder if I can even sue them for that cause that was some bullshit.
