I never really review fast food. Its all pretty standard. However, they went out of their way here. The person before me ordered like $ 100 worth of food, and while that was backing things up, the nice woman who took my order was running out to cars, taking cash, giving change, and dropping off food. I got the boneless wings, which were okay, but I will more than likely be back next time I get a Chi town hot dog craving.

So I arrive at sonic right at 4:00 just in time for the half price slashes except we stand there waiting for someone to come help us. She comes over at 4:01 can I take your order. I’m like are the drinks still ½ price. She says no but asks a manager as I told her I was standing here. She comes back nothing they can do it’s the system. Well there is something you can do. Have someone at the counter on time and give my drink half price. I have been to this location several times and have been disappointed in the service. I have been to other locations in better neighborhoods and was treated far better. I understand they have to be stern sure to the environment but right is right. Lesson learned will not be back to this sonic location…

They still haven’t learned and neither have I. Every time I go to the Elizabeth location 9 times out of 10 the onion rings are perfect; but the Newark location just can’t get it right; 9 times out of 10 the onion rings are over-cooked. The only reason I gave this review 3 stars is for the milkshake, never again will I order onion rings from Sonic Newark, this location has been opened for over a year now so their learning curve is over. My motto is «If You can’t cook it right, take it off the menu!

There customer service sucks wanted to really argue because I paid extra for more and they didn’t even put the any of the candy my shake comes with the first place Told me I was a lying I was going every day for a shake but never again to this one I’ll drive to Elizabeth can’t deny this craving and I refuse to spend money and be disrespected

It was ok by didn’t really hit the spot like I thought it would. Ordered double bacon cheese burger with everything. When I got home, burger looked very blah. Cheese tots were generic and prep milkshake was around average. Even at Sonics, I’ve had better. This place is just barely ok. Probably won’t go to this sonics again, I’d rather five guys. Better burgers and probably ended up being cheaper.

I’m never one to make a complaint about an establish because 9 out of 10 times, I move on from the situation. Unfortunately, today my experience at Sonics was not my usual. At the drive thru today, I noticed only two cars was in front which meant this was going to be a quick run. Once I pulled up to the speaker prompt, I was held ten minutes for a simple order. But that wasn’t what aggravated me today, it was the condescending tone that I received. The guy taking the order failed to answer a simple question by replying«READTHEMENU» and«I’m very busy can you hurry up!» I cancelled my order and asked to speak to a manager. It wasn’t until I spoke to the manager Antonio that I found out it was him taking the order. Not only was he unprofessional taking the order but also with the fact that I addressed the issue. It’s unfortunate that he ruined my experience at this establishment because this was a place that I recommended to a lot of my friends. Hope this helped

I decided to go to this sonic last night and I’m not impressed. The service was horrible and the food tasted like crap. Not to mention it was cold. I don’t know what other places do to their burgers to make them delicious and worth it but Sonic should try it. The best thing about the food was the cherry limeade. That was nothing short of delicious. If they could make the food as good as the drinks, maybe I’d think about going back.

Service is amazing! It’s pretty fast even though it’s seems as though it is very crowded. The employees sometimes even come out on skates(even though this was once protocol). Surprisingly this is my favorite Sonic Drive Thru.
