Suburban Propane

We have been using this company since we moved into our house two years ago. They would come fill our tank, leave a bill and we would pay it off. Unannounced to us they decided to change our account to «Will Call», and did not inform us. We woke up today to a house that was 60 degrees and continually dropping. We called to see if they could service us, being that it is Sunday we figured they would charge an emergency fee. Since we were unaware that we were changed to will call we asked if the fee could be waived. We spoke to Brian in emergency service and he wasnt given permission from his manager to waive the $ 175 and informed us we would be required to completely fill out tank and pay over $ 900 upfront. Needless to say, we are stilling in our freezing home with no help from them. I think this is enough to say we are highly unsatisfied and would not recommend this company to anyone. Do your research before linking up with a propane company in your area. If there is any other options beside Suburban Propane, go elsewhere.
