I come and get the cold cut combo foot long sub. Not many people know about this place. Nice owners.

If you’ve been to one Subway, you’ve been to them all, pretty much. That’s not a bad thing either. I appreciate their consistency, especially in places I’ve never been to before. My first visit to Newark brought me to this Subway location adjacent to the Hilton where I spent the night. Hurrying along to a KPop concert at the nearby Prudential Center, I wasn’t looking for anything sit-down but also not life-shortening. Enter Subway. I’ve long been on the D’Angelo’s side of the debate between the two in my home region, but this summer has seen my preferences shift toward this worthy fella. I could do without the abundant olympic athlete ads and their futile attempts to make me want avocado on my sandwich. Apolo Ohno? Really? This year’s was a SUMMER Olympics. That’s another story, though. So, Subway. Reliable, fresh, guilt-free(assuming you don’t order Toasted Death), fast, and priced fairly. With a staff that actually understood me(no language barrier!) and executed my order correctly, how can I complain? Bottom line? I was grateful to have this little shop so conveniently located. Should I return to Newark(and I’m in no rush to do so, not one bit honestly), I’d gladly go back.
