Wow, LEGO has changed since I was a kid playing with it. All sorts of marketing tie-ins and of course, the Lego Movie. But it’s still blocks and shapes and building all sorts of stuff. Prices are not better than you’ll find at any other toy store but the selection and focus of pure Lego is unparalleled.

I love to indulge in my inner child, so I actually do like this store despite having no children. This place often has a line waiting to get in, which is kind of odd. They also seems to have a lot of events for children and families. The store is a bit small, though carries an array of Lego products, some are actually really interesting to look at, such as the Star Wars and Harry Potter collection. Maybe I don’t remember much from my childhood, but wow can some of those sets get expensive– As in several hundred dollars. The salespeople are all very pleasant, and I’ve never encountered anything that would stop me from coming back.

I love the Lego store. The prices aren’t any higher than you would find in a third party place(like at Toys R Us), which is a huge plus. Only issue is sometimes random lego pieces are on the floor, which makes it slippery and hazardous, but the staff does their best to keep that under control.
