Top Nails II

Horrible Service. Im from NY recently move to Jersey, was looking for a decent nail salon. I walked in to this nail salon, it was empty. They asked me if I had an appointment and looked through the book even when I said no just wanted tips. I didn’t understand what was the problem, anyways finally I sat. She was a little bit rude, very tough at filing my nails. She cut me several times, and only said sorry once. I was already annoyed, she was rushing and doing everything way to fast. Its understandable if they are busy, but I was the only one there on a rainy day. Cmon! I was actually excited to get my nails done in Jersey
Explained to her I want reg. Acrylic and she started using Crystal. More pricey which is fine, then She kept saying she will put color gel, I told her I wanted regular Nail polish. I prefer to get color gel on my nails not the acrylic one. She didn’t have the nail color I wanted, only Gel. She was pushy for me to get other services. I didn’t like that, plus the selection of colors are very limited. I asked her to put a different color and she said she cant do that. Ahhhh! Idk what was the problem, if they don’t feel like working why be there ?
Anyways If you want to get your nails done, with great designs. Go to NEW YORK! Better service and quality. Hope I find the right nail spot In Jersey I can go most of the time.

My friend and I were in town for work and decided to take a chance on this place.
The entires duration of our manicure and pedicure we had to tell the women doing our nails how to do them. They were not paying attention and left my nails way too short and my friends’ lopsided.
My pedicure chipped in two days and the terrible «perfect match» manicure bubbled and looked gross.
I will not be returning here.

The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because more than once I have made an appointment and had to wait about a half an hour before they saw me. I go to Tony exclusively for my stiletto nails. He is the best in the area. Sometimes he goes out of the country for weeks at a time though which is a little inconvenient. The prices are reasonable here.

Have been going here for 10 years. Staff is very friendly and welcome you by name when you walk in. All services are great and they really try to please you by getting your nails exactly how you want it. I recommend this place to everyone who wants gel nails in the area. Only place I trust.

I’m a regular in the ironbound section, anywhere else is dirty and filled with gossipy women, this place is nice and quaint, clean and comfortable. Not great with outside designs but if you let them do their thing you won’t be disappointed, my gel last for a long time.

It’s very hard to find a good nail salon around here this one is basic if you need basic fill-​in basic color that’s the place as far as designs or anything extraneous they rush everything no one here really has any talent I suggest you head to New York
