Newberg Xpress Lube

My first time here was a great experience. Everyone was very friendly, knowledgable and professional. I will be bringing all of my vehicles here in the future!

I have been having my cars serviced at Newberg Xpress lube since the day they opened and have never regretted it. Owner/​Manager Ken works his tail off to give customers the very best service possible in this sort of setting. The reason I am writing this review is because as i was waiting to get my car serviced today I noticed that car pulled into the Xpress Lube lot and left because they did not want to wait in line. Based on the cars direction of travel when they left I suspect they headed over to the local Jiffy Lube hoping for a shorter wait. I laughed because clearly this individual (assuming I was correct in my assessment of where they were going) was more interested in speed rather than quality of service. Do not come to Newberg Xpress Lube if you want to be in-​and-​out in 15 minutes. Ken will take the time with each car he services to make sure EVERYTHING is in good shape before you drive out the door. He is a business owner who does all the little things that a customer appreciates. If you do not have time to wait for the wonderful quality service he provides to each and every car that drives in his door then you need to go elsewhere. Further, the price he charges is for a complete service, not the bare essentials that are included in the misleading price advertised by Jiffy Lube. Believe it or not I find taking my car in for servicing at Newberg Xpress Lube to be relaxing and simply plan on waiting a bit if it is necessary.
A few years back as I was driving out of Newberg Xpress Lube my car started make a loud irregular noise. Ken brought me back into the bay and personally diagnosed the problem. I was missing a bolt that held something in place (don’t recall exactly what). Even though there was absolutely no evidence that the problem was caused while his staff was doing work on my car he had drive to the mechanic next door and paid to have the problem repaired on the spot! How good is that. I am a life long customer of Newberg Xpress Lube and recommend them without reservation!

I keep coming back to Xpress lube because they don’t recommend unnecessary fluid changes or use high pressure sales techniques like other «strip mall style» quick-​e-​lubes. I have gone places before that charge my wife more if she is alone and this Xpress Lube isn’t one of them. This is the only place in Newberg I trust to change my oil because they have earned my business.
