Tire Factory

Great service here. Larry, the manager is kind of intense, but in a good way. I came in on a Friday with a problem, he got me on the schedule for Saturday afternoon. He actually called me in earlier due to an opening and got me out of there for less money and time than initially expected. He took the time to explain what had caused the problem, then offered to rotate my tires (I got them at another Tire Factory). I will return.

This location is perfect for this small town, it has the friendly I-​know-​your-​name vibe… even if they don’t! :) Larry is the first person I met and he is fantastic, don’t ever let him go from here! He’s super friendly and helpful, esp to me as a single lady who knows nothing about cars! He treats me with respect and explains everything in an easy to know way.
I happened to go in when they were doing a special Passport deal, it wasn’t really mentioned but I saw a small sign and inquired. If they have it avail, grab it, it’s a great deal for oil change, tire bucks, etc.
I really was happily surprised to get a text from them reminding me about something (can’t recall what exactly) but it was so nice, they gave hospitality. Alas, like most tire stores their waiting room isn’t fancy, it could use a «woman’s touch» but they at least have water bottles and regular coffee with wifi. :)
When I have had miscommunication, they have kept my business by making sure I get a discount. I appreciate that when they aren’t perfect, they know what to do. Go! It’s a great place!

Went in today to get a flat tire inspection on my car. I called the store ahead of time and got in quick. I didn’t have to wait like other stores. Larry, the store manager was to the point and professional!

I am a longtime customer of the Newberg Tire Factory and have nothing but positive things to say about this store and Larry, the manager. We not only have our tires replaced there, but almost all our vehicle service is done here. Larry has always been professional, courteous, and honest. I will continue to be a loyal customer and highly recommend them for your vehicle needs.

If you ever go to this Tire Factory, make sure the manager Larry is not there.
I go to Jim Bacon’s Tire Factory in Beaverton for all of my purchases, but every now and then since I work in Newberg I will something I need done and I stop into the Newberg location.
Seriously, Larry the manager has tried to screw my dad over TWICE on sets of tires (and my pops owns a company with about 40 pieces of rolling equipment), Larry has talked to me like I am some uninformed idiot almost every time I’ve gone in. I will never go to this location unless it is to tell Larry to F off.
One time I really needed an alignment on my car and I had a coupon for $ 50 off any service, I called Larry to ask him if I could use the coupon and how much the alignment was, he asked me what type of car I had and and then told me that the alignment was a 4-​wheel one and it would be $ 79.95, so I confirmed with him that I would be able to use the coupon, and I was really strapped for cash at the time so it was very important that I be able to use this coupon so it only costs me $ 30.
Long story short, I went in, got the car aligned and then when I picked it up and went to pay, Larry hands me an invoice that says $ 49.95, and I could not use the coupon. I asked him what the deal was and he denied that he told me it was a 4-​wheel alignment, since it was only a 2-​wheel alignment that made it $ 49.95. I was so freaking enraged, but I just paid and left.
Then another time I brought my summer wheels and tires in to have them put on, because Jim Bacon’s swaps them anytime for me for free, and Larry wanted to charge me $ 20! I told him that I had bought both sets of tires (and 1 set of wheels that was $ 1500) from them and he still wouldn’t do it. I can’t believe there are no bad reviews of this location. I will NEVER do business with this location, you can’t miss Larry, he’s the big tall gray-​haired dude. Avoid Larry at all costs, he will screw you, he even ordered a special order of tires for my dad and bumped the price up $ 300 when they arrived, its a total joke!
