We have had breakfast and lunch here a few times. Everything is delicious! We’ve had the breakfast sandwich in the mornings. The croissant is a bit greasy but it’s warm and flaky and tastes good, the egg is cooked perfectly, as well as the bacon. We’ve had soups and sandwiches or wraps at lunch time. My favorite is the tomato basil soup and a grilled cheese. My boyfriend had the pumpkin soup with a wrap last time. Wrap was delicious and perfect. The pumpkin soup tasted like curry sauce which I happen to think is delicious so it all worked out. We like to sit at the counter in the window and watch the street out front. The back patio is really nice in the warm weather too.

The best breakfast sandwich I have had in a LONG time! Cleo’s croissants are just like what I had everyday while I lived in France!!! Truly a rare experience to find a fabulous, flaky, truly French croissant. The eggs and bacon must come from a local farm. Everything was delicious. My Dad and I sat on the back patio, where we had a great view of the river that proved to be very relaxing. Cleo’s has such a wonderful location in old town Newburgh, near my favorite place for long walks. By the way, I often have stopped in after these nice long walk for a delicious homemade oatmeal cookie with cranberries.

I called Cleo’s on a Saturday morning to order a requested birthday cake. Lemon and Raspberry filling layered cake. Jeannie got on the phone and said I will bake one for you. She told me I am not a cake decorator but I assure you it will taste good. Jeannie had the cake ready for me by 12:30 on Sunday afternoon. Thanks so much Jeannie for make this happen for my daughter’s birthday. You were right It tasted amazing and must say you did a great job on the decorating.

Cleo’s is so cute. All food made from scratch. We had the breakfast sandwich. So delicious. Right on the Ohio River. Highly recommend eating at Cleo’s. You can eat in or get it to go and sit on a bench and enjoy the river.

Cleo’s Bakery is a hidden gem in historic Newburgh. THEYAREOPENONSUNDAYS9 – 2. Even though the hours on Unilocal said they were closed Sundays, I called just to be sure. I’m glad I did! The food tastes like your grandma made it just for you! Quaint atmosphere, delicious food and friendly service makes this place a new favorite! I enjoyed their breakfast burrito(made fresh for me at 1pm since I was in a «breakfast mood»), and my husband had a delicious Reuben sandwich(«best I’ve had»). We will definitely return!

What a great little breakfast spot next to the Ohio River. We stopped one morning while touring the area for a refresher of coffee; and a taste of Zucchini squares; Awesome ! We followed up the next day with a breakfast sandwich, quiche of the day, and baked French toast(I know, quite indulgent!) but it was worth the experience! The next time we are in town, Cleo’s will be part of our itinerary!

I’m an idiot. Every time I come to Cleo’s I sit in the car and never go in. This time, I went in and went to see what that actually had to offer instead of just passing by or recently having my bf pick something up for me. This place is amazing. Their croissants are amazing. And yes, while I still wish they’d offer a sandwich on a croissant without Swiss cheese that doesn’t make them any less of a plus. Plus the fact that you can sometimes get stonewall? Farms organic meats there in the winter on Saturdays makes this an awesome place

Good coffee, great food, great atmosphere. I have tried the cream of poblano soup, tomato basil soup, farmer’s market sandwich, 9 west PB&J, albacore tuna walnut salad sandwich, countless baked goods, and loved them all. Cleo’s has a great ambiance and friendly staff who complete the experience. For a new business they have a variety of options – vegetarian and vegan included. You can create your own sandwich and choose from basically any ingredients off the menu. The back dining room is the perfect place to sit and catch up with an old friend with a great view of the Ohio River.
