Pizza Hut

I should have known better after reading all this reviews but my Father was certain that he wanted Pizza Hut… they have the stuffed crust which Dominos doesn’t have. I read on multiple reviews that many people placed orders online and when they went to pick it up that they claimed no order was made! Figures that when we walk into the Pizza Hut there was no one at the desk and the phone kept on ringing and ringing and ringing… no one bothered to answer it. Finally the «manager» (shouldn’t be allowed to have the title and I hope it isn’t the owner!) came up and when we told him the name it was under he said «We don’t have an online order for you.»
My Father ordered online and it gave him a confirmation and a time when it would be ready and the address was CONFIRMED. It wasn’t sent to another Pizza Hut location. The manager showed no empathy and didn’t bother to even rectify the situation. in fact he could care less! He didn’t try to find the order in the back or bother to replace the order. At this point (like I said) I should’ve known better after reading the HORRIBLE reviews this place has.
I normally like Pizza Hut, but instead we took our business to Dominos a couple miles away and we even had issues with them. Franchise owners shouid take better care of their customers or else they tend to go out of business!
Shame on the owner for not caring about all the negative reviews and attempting to better train their staff!
Stay away like the plague! We spent over 45 minutes waiting for a pizza and when we go to pick it up it’s not there! What a SHAME.

Called in to order carry out due to online ordering site not working. They didn’t even place my order and pretty much hung up on me when i asked why they couldn’t honor the online price when Site wasn’t working. I won’t be back. They should have given me a discount for the hassle of waiting longer and poor customer service.

I ordered a small ham & cheese pizza on gluten free crust (due to a wheat allergy) and opted to pick it up so reduce wait time. I pick up my pizza, drive back to work and open the box to see that my pizza is quite overcooked. The little edges of the ham were crisp (like crispy bacon crisp) not soft like the usual ham on pizza texture. And with gluten free crust already being different, burning it just makes it even more cardboard-​like than it should be. Aside from overcooked the gluten free crust seemed good (given you eat it while it’s hot and doesn’t have time to harden) I could only think how hard my pizza would’ve been if i had opted for delivery.

The pizza guy was awesome delivered to 240 & was so delightful xo promote him! He was so friendly & welcoming I would def order from him again!

Never eating from this place again. Found a hair in my food and it was disgusting. Pizza Hut in general is horrible pretty much everywhere, which is why I decided to go to this location which obviously wasn’t any better! I’ll stick to little caesars or any other pizza, but pizza hut. Ew!

Now I am putting it here as a review for Carryout. I do not order DELIVERY because it seems like a waste of gas & it really is not that far to walk to or drive. I stop by when I want a large pizza on special for $ 11. Now, I do not know how delivery is like, but I liked picking it up myself because then I have it hot & ready to go. I guess if it came to delivery, it is not the best, but for pick-​up, I like it a lot. As I said, I am an Urban Hiker, so I like stopping by & saying hello to the people there. They seem nice to me, maybe because I get to know them & I like to interact with the people I get my food from. After all, it cannot be an easy business.

I ordered pizzas for delivery at 7:02pm. I know this because I have an email that told me what time I ordered the pizzas and what time they were supposed to be delivered. Which was 7:47. 8:02 no delivery. I called and was put on hold. For over 3 minutes. So I hung up the phone and called again. When asked if I could be put on hold I firmly stated «no». And So I went on hold. I hung up again and called again. This time I talked to Loius Martivez who, after a very loud discussion, told me it would be another 20 – 50 minutes for delivery. No manager and many excuses later I cancelled the order and called Dominos. Their pizza would be ready in 10 minutes. Who would have figured? So Pizza Hut, grade wise you failed. Badly.

I probably need to start checking Unilocal even for chain stuff like this. Yep, everyone is right — bad service and an attitude too! They forgot half my order, acted like it was weird for me to expect them to bring it. Then, when it was 30 minutes and still not there (1.5 hours after order) I asked to to just cancel it.
Apparently something in my tone said «Breadstick Scam Artist» because the guy gave me a huge attitude like I was trying to steal $ 5 breadsticks. No, friend, I just don’t want them an hour after we eat.
Oh and the ones that showed up, cold and rock hard, were the wrong kind and with the wrong sauce. I’ll spend $ 5 to save the calories and have a reminder that Pizza Hut is, pretty much, the absolute worst.

One Star is too many for this place. Staff took my order and when I go to pick up, they claim it’s not in the system. One day they even charged my card and didn’t deliver my order. This place sucks. Go to Mod pizza or magoo’s or anywhere but here to get your pizza. I am surprised they are still open. Not a single good review.

So bad I carried out and they messed up my order and some punk stold my credit Card information and they didn’t even help me secure my card information. Don’t go here there Bad really bad. Choose a better pizza option

I asked for spinach and they straight up put whe raw spinach leaves right on top. Th fuck…

This rating doesn’t lie unfortunately I could only give it one star but I would rather give it no stars. Pray to Jesus Christ that your pizza will make it to your house warm because these people really lag.

We ordered a large pan with 4 toppings which came out to $ 16 and some wings. Sauces were not included and the wings had little sauce on them. So we had to pay for ranch and blue cheese. I didn’t understand why Pizza Hut in California doesn’t include sauces for basic wings that’s odd. Overall everything eles was fine. Alittle expensive then pizza huts out of state or may just be a California thing.

Because you can not give a ½ star. Pizza was worse than something you get from the freezer at grocery store that is on close out sale! I foolishly called to express my disappointment for this $ 18.26 pizza that I picked up. Spoke with their «MANAGER» Jordan who didn’t have the first clue as to how to speak with a customer that was NOT SATISFIED, so he hung up. The crust was the thinnest I have ever had.“SEE THROUGH” the flavor was awful. I know every business can have a bad night! But I KNOW it can not survive if no one cares at the business and «HANGS UP» on the customers that are not happy. I LOOKED in the telephone book and there are many other PIZZA sellers. I will never give this business another dime of my hard earned money.

Really hit or miss with this location. They don’t answer the phone consistently. If you go in to order you can stand at the counter for 5 to 10 minutes before anybody even checks the counter. Seem to be understaffed at this location. Just going to stop patronizing this location. Just too many other options nearby. Don’t know how they can do business like this. Pitiful.

I’m surprised at the low ratings and reviews. My wife and I have ordered pizza from here a handful of times, and for what it is: a storefront, takeout /​delivery only place (we always order for pick-​up), it is perfectly fine. Set your expectations for an average pizza and you’ll be fine. They’ve always gotten the order correct for us, whether we called or ordered online, and if there were any issues, they’ve called back and ensured our satisfaction. Considerate and polite, we can’t complain. If you’re short on time and want something filling and convenient, order and go pick up.

This is the worst possible location to order any meal from. I spent 10 minutes on the phone ordering terrible food and payed $ 30+ to get an inedible pizza and god awful hot wings for myself, my family, and my neighbors. I was disgusted and completely outraged for the price when I could have ordered from Tonys or amecis. Please do not order from this shit hole and spend your money in a more successful manor.

Like so many places in TO/​Newbury Park, this Pizza Hut is hit or miss (more often miss than actually getting it right). If I could give this location zero stars, I would. Very rarely, they’ll semi-​understand your order and the pizza will be alright (edible but still pretty gross), but most of the time I’m left wondering why I bothered to drive all the way over there.
Normally, the Italian sausage is greasy and undercooked, and despite always asking for them to go light on the sauce, they practically drown the pizza in sauce and the entire thing ends up really soggy and disgusting.
However, tonight, I ordered a pizza with Italian sausage and extra cheese and ended up just ordering it without sauce because I’m tired of scraping 90% of it off of my pizza. It was probably the most terrible pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The crust was really, really thin; It had clearly been cooked for way too long based on the fact that if I bent the pizza slightly, it would literally crack in half.
On top of that, I was charged for the extra cheese I ordered, and my pizza hardly had any cheese at all. Probably only about 10% of the pizza even had any cheese on it at all, like they ran out in the middle of making it.
Seriously, go somewhere else. The pizza at this place is absolutely terrible.

Why would I even review this place?

I ordered 2 large pizzas through their online ordering system,. One was just a pizza with extra cheese, the other was sausage and bacon. They arrived early, which was nice, but the second pizza was wrong. There was plenty of sausage, but not a single piece of bacon.
I called the store directly to make a complaint. First off, after getting my info, she started arguing with me, saying that there was plenty of bacon on the pizza and that she had been the one to cut it. I told her that we were both looking at it and that there was none. She asked if I wanted a pizza with more bacon. What I told her was that I wanted one the way I ordered it. She said it would be there as soon as they could get it here. So far it hasn’t shown up, but it has only been an hour. Will follow-​up later and tell what happens.
