saw this provider for about a year and I feel that it was an unethical practice. Why would a vision therapist test rapid naming and then not tell parents that the child is having severe dyslexia red flags. VT does not fix dyslexia! Why would she not tell a parent if there child was a great candidate for occupational therapy which is covered by insurance unlike VT. It would have made a tremendous change to my child’s life to have gotten that early specialized reading instruction instead of this.
