After reading reviews, wish I’d ordered something else. I had the chicken marsala… which I only know was marsala from the name. No taste. Really boring. Loved the outdoor space, which is why we chose it. Service was good and it was lovely sitting out on a perfect summer day. I’d try it again, but I will stick to salad or pizza.

We had the wild mushroom pizza and our friends had the lasagna pizza. Both were absolutely delicious! Finished off the night with the strawberry pana cotta… Yummy!

Just like Loretta across the street this place caters only couples and groups. I have sat at the bar twice and after 15 minutes of being ignored I walked out. Doesn’t matter how good the food is or isn’t to be treated so unfairly is discrimination. Both owners have attitude.

Ordered take out from here. Service was very slow, I think the server was in training. The Margherita pizza was just okay, I have had better elsewhere and could make this at home. Falafel sandwich was unfortunately tasteless. Nice that they have gluten free pasta which would be good for my family members with celiac disease but concerned it will not taste good given this experience.

The food is mediocre at best. Our server she was very sweet but we were extremely disappointed with the food in general. The dinner itself was fine but the appetizer we got was the worst I have had in a long time. We got muscles and not only were they tiny, they were very stringy and hard to get out of the shell. It looked like they were old or very out of season. It’s like we paid $ 15 for nothing we could barely get muscles out of most of the shells. I would’ve been understanding, and the waitress was nice about it, but when we got the bill the muscles were still on there which really upset me. I won’t be going here again and I am a regular customer in the Newburyport area, but this is one place I will avoid.

The sauce on the Eggplant Parmesan was great. As good as mine. BUT The plate was cold in some places, hot in others. The fried eggplant was old and hard and cold. They put something like raw, cold mozzarella on top of it. I removed it. The linguine was too al dente. They were short on staff, I ate alone and they served other tables before me. Had to wave them down twice. I will not go back. The LARGE pizzas on other tables looked good. Two kids were eating a small pizza that looked like a frozen pizza, no crust, real flat, orangey sauce. I might order a pizza, but only a large one, here in the future but just expect bad service. Their advertising is not accurate. I expected more from it because of the hype on the radio. Beware. There’s other better options in town.

Made rooms for us and our baby. The food was to die for. The caesar salad the waitress recommended was THEBEST caesar salad I have ever had. No lie. Must try! The pizza was also very yummy. Cant wait to visit again so I can eat here again! The waitress was also super good!

Went there again after not going for a while and the pizza was not as good. Very skimpy on the toppings. I got the margherita pizza and it hardly had any mozzarella cheese on it. Which I know margherita pizzas are not completely covered in cheese but this was noticeably skimpy. The sauce was lacking too! There was so little of it that it dried to the dough. At least there was plenty of basil. Definitely didn’t need to use a knife and fork this time around since there was nothing to it. I can’t justify paying over $ 15.00 for this. The martini I ordered had some particles floating in it. Dust probably. Our server fixed it immediately. She was great. Another server took away our bread quickly before we had time to object to make room for our meals and she replaced it immediately for us. My boyfriend ordered chicken parm and loved it. I just wish the pizza was as amazing as before.

One a drive to Salem we stopped by this little town for lunch and ordered the BBQ chicken pizza. It was decent, and it was big enough that we had some for dinner but there was nothing spectacular about the crust, the sauce, the ingredients. It got the job done, but definitely more expensive than Dominos and Little Caesars, but not quite as succulent. It was a nice atmosphere to go as a family, or stop by for a quick bite before shopping around the little shops, or stop by for pizza before hitting the boardwalk.

This place is so much more than a pizzeria. The menus is extensive and the quality of food is that of a finer restaurant. The lamb shanks were fall off the bone tender and rizzoto superb. The mushroom ravioli appetizers were delishious . I ordered the pannicotta for desert and it was scrumptious. We will definitely be returning.

Jill is a great waitress. She recommended some delicious menu choices for my mother and I. The Brie pizza and the beet salad was out of this world good! Definitely a new favorite spot to eat for both my mom and I. Five star experience!

Came here because they have gluten free pizza. It was good, nothing special, but definitely not worth the $ 17 it cost. The restaurant is in a nice location but it is small for the amount of tables they have squeezed in. The people at the table next to me were extremely loud and distracting from my families time. The waitress barely acknowledged us. My order was incorrect and the waitress didn’t even apologize. I was really disappointed.

Oregano is excellent. They have a cool mix of Italian and Lebanese food and they never disappoint. Their space is very comfortable… you get fine dining without the stuffy feel. This is a regular stop for us.

I love Lebanese food and didn’t realize they have it here. The trio dip appetizer has the most delicious Baba ghanoush and yogurt sauce with grilled bread, onions, tomatoes, olives. I’ll be coming back for this often!

We returned two nights ago for a very casual dinner after a walk on the beach. It happened to be our anniversary. No big deal though! We ordered several apps we order every time we go to Oregano. Unfortunately, once again the food was very inconsistent. The tripoli dip usually a good staple was tasteless(none of the ingredients had been added to the baba; it was raw eggplant) and spare with olives to say the least. There were 4 ;) To be fair– the owner did comp it. But it was inedible. The Oregano salad has become more or less an arugula salad with a few lentils. But in other visits it’s all lentils– go figure?! It’s sad the kitchen can’t turnout the same quality consistently. The service was fair. But a turnoff to see the waitress come out with a spray bottle and hose down the tables beside us without even removing the salt/pepper/herb shakers which got totally splattered. EWWWWW! After so many years of going here I wonder why we try anymore? Its been this way for so long that it seems the inconsistency speaks to the leadership/ownership of this restaurant. You’re in the restaurant business folks – consistency and customer service are key. If you have a low average rating on Unilocal from various Unilocalers saying many of the same things, perhaps its time to honestly reevaluate and make some changes so your customers have a better experience and want to come back consistently.

Came here on my birthday for some Italian on the recommendation of several of the local shop owners. Wish I would have checked Unilocal and I could have been spared a terrible experience. Sadly the waiter was unbelievably offensive. He hung around at our table with a foot on the extra chair begging and pressuring us to just order a tomato pie. He must have said it 6 times. Even though I told him I didn’t want pizza that I was looking for something special since it was my birthday and my husband had to shoo him away to give us a minute. He came back moments later… foot on the chair again… mentioning the pizza again and bragging that he just forced 2 girls to order the pizza at the next table and now he started pressuring us to order wine. We already told him we didn’t drink at all, but he continued to pester us with his foot on the chair. We ordered appetizers and the eggplant rotalini was excellent and my husband’s dish of lamb, hummus and tabbouleh on a hot pita was so beautiful and delicious and that is the only reason they are being given 2 stars. My chicken Marsala was beyond horrible. Unbalanced, muddy flavored and it had some kind of pancetta chunks in it that tasted rancid. I was not eating any of it. The waiter came by and saw that I was not happy with my dish. I told him it was terrible and tasted like the pancetta was rotten and he just laughed and said you should have order the pizza like I told you. He didn’t take away the dish. Even though I had pushed it to the other side of the table so I didn’t have to smell it. He left and didn’t offer me anything else. He was so cocky and rude from the moment we walked into the restaurant, it was almost as if we were on a hidden camera show. He then came back and offered to wrap up my rotten dish that I obviously didn’t eat and I said no thank you. We got the bill and the nasty Marsala was still on the bill… I can’t believe it was not removed from the bill. We were so angry but didn’t want to wait anymore to get into a tiff with the manager so we just made sure his tip 100 percent completely removed from the bill. I did not eat except for the bites my husband gave me and was hungry for the rest of the night… ONMYBIRTHDAY! Not fun. Not nice.

You really need to hire better staff and teach them how to serve. If your business is doing ok, it is only by chance. I WILLNEVER step foot in this restaurant again. Service is the worst I have ever experienced anywhere. Our pizza tipped off and fell on the floor and your staff just stepped over the pizza on the floor(several of them), and it was finally picked up. We were not offered another pizza to substitute it, and then were charged for the pizza. Are you kidding me??? never again.

So we have been to this Restaurant several times. We visited last Sunday a week after our last visit and the entire experience was Terrible! In the past, the Pizza was always cooked perfect and tasted Great. This time starting with the stale bread, watery and tasteless Fish Chowder to the undercooked and lifeless Pizza, we are completely miffed. How can this be? The(female) Manager came over to apologize and credited the Chowder but we were charged full price for the terrible Pizza. When we asked if there was a problem in the Kitchen we were told«Not at All». I don’t believe that! With that being said, this Restaurant is now on the the«Do Not Return» List! We are cooked.

We came over for a sunday family lunch, and we found this place very comfortable! Individual pizza can feed 2 people. We bought as an appetizer the oregano salad, that was surprisngly good, and for main dish 2 individual pizzas and a small one for our daughter. We were happy with everything, starting from our blonde waitress and the lady with brown hair, who helped us moving our pizzas around to make it reachable to all of us, and finishing with the fresh toppings of our pizza! I apologize for my english, I’m italian and I appreciate this place. I suggest everyone to stop here for a very good italian style pizza! Just a little and really not important detail, in the menu they wrote down«anti pasto», but in italian this is actually written as only word«antipasto» :)
