Having lived in Newburyport for years, i usually try to shop local, so I went to Port Paint to get paint for one accent wall in a bathroom. I appreciated that when I asked if a quart was enough, the salesman said a pint would do. At the big box stores they dont even have pints of pretty colored paints, and they would never try to sell you the smaller amount. this was not my first trip to Port, but I had to share this good customer service story. Oh, and they sell the great Benjamin Moore line of paints, always quality.

I recently went to Port Paint N’ Paper-​Window Treatments in Newburyport to order Hunter Douglas Shades for my Great room. I was trying to match the shades I already had. When the shades arrived and were being installed, I realized that the color didn’t match and the pleat size was off. I had made a huge $ 600 mistake when I ordered them. The customer service at Port Paint N’ Paper– Window Treatments was unbelievable! They worked with me, ordered another set of shades — this time the correct color and size of the pleats, and it only cost me an additional $ 60. I feel as if they went above and beyond and I really appreciate their working with me. I highly recommend them!
