My mother in law eats here a lot, but this was the first time my husband and I came as well. The cook saw us coming and opened the door for us, which is an example of the kind of service we received. This is another small cozy neighborhood restaurant like Bill’s Diner. Similar menu. The only big difference I noted is dessert. Bill’s has more in the way of ice cream sundaes and milkshakes, and Tammy Jo’s has a lot of pies and cakes, as well as a variety of treats to purchase on your way out the door. My husband preferred the patty melts he’s had at Bill’s but said it wasn’t bad. I’d say burgers are comparable, but the patties at Tammy Jo’s might be more generous. Both the fries and curly fries seemed under seasoned. Otherwise the meal was satisfactory. Great service and good overall value.

Had a nice dinner on a Tuesday evening. Servings are big, prices are fair, and the food was quite good. The meatloaf dinner was tasty, and with a corn bite appetizer, hit the spot. Service was very good, although there were only 2 other customers. Will eat here again. Had been here for breakfast in the past and that was very good as well!
