I’ve been dancing social ballroom for over 5 years now and quality instruction in the Santa Clarita Valley is rather hard to come by. There are independent instructors in the valley but you have to follow them from location to location since they’re not attached to a studio. There is another ballroom dance studio in the valley but they’re shaky, move around a few times and the owner isn’t really a born-​and-​bred dancer. Somewhat recently another. somewhat large studio location opened at Westfield’s Valencia Town Center mall but it wasn’t well organized and didn’t last long.

The owners (Willy and ingrid) run the studio in a way that is both highly professional and comfortably intimate. They treat each and every student with caring, respect and appreciation — you’re treated as if you are part of their family. In turn, the students all treat each other as close friends and family. Even when you are new, you’ll feel totally welcomed and never feel like a «newbie» or an «outsider».
My dance partner and I are beyond pleased to be at D’Wilfri and have seen such a tremendous improvement in our abilities and technique.

My wife and I researched a bunch of different dance studios in the Santa Clarita valley and found D’Wilfri Dance studio to be the best of all. Willy and Ingrid’s teaching methods complement each other beautifully. Ingrid brakes down each movement step by step giving you solid understanding of the technique while Willy will throw you into «the fire» pushing your limits and encouraging you to sense the passion and get in touch with your body. This combo enabled my wife and I, two complete beginners, to display some timid «moves» as early as our first couple of lessons. Their price is good for the average wallet and unlike many other dance studios, you will not feel pressured into taking private classes. We are learning in the group classes’ context. Their friendly and humble demeanor makes up for a fantastic atmosphere where one finds him/​herself pleasantly at ease. Willy and Ingrid’s vibrant and tangible passion for dancing is what allows them to be GREAT on the dance floor and the student s to easily share in such passion. If you are looking for dance classes, LOOK NO FURTHER.

D’Wilfri Dance studio has dramatically improved my dancing as well as my wife’s. We are very impressed with Will and Ingrid. Their group classes are so progressive and interesting, pushing levels from Bronze Silver and Gold that’s me each lesson a pleasure. We recommend D’Wilfri studio to anyone looking to learn how to dance, improve their dance or for couples like my wife and I who are empty nesters and have found a tremendous amount of fun learning how to dance together. We’ve been to many different dance studios and found D’Wilfris to be the best.
