Paul Schoenbaum, DDS

I recently moved to Portland OR from CA and am shopping for a new Dentist; this made me realize how much I miss Dr. Paul and his team. The great thing about this team is that I never felt like I was going to a dental office; instead, I felt like I was visiting friends. I never laughed so much in a Dental office like I did at Dr. Paul’s. The chief comedian is Dr. Paul himself, we have exchanged so many laugh lines that made me forget the unpleasantness of the field of Dentistry. And, believe me, my teeth are bad.
The team was very professional too and the customer service I received was second to none; Dr. Paul always emphasized the importance of dental hygiene. Thanks to him I bought a water flossing machine that I use regularly; this process has helped me a great deal. Also worth mentioning, Dr. Paul is not a greedy man; his charges are reasonable. Most importantly, he readily gives his personal phone numbers asking us to call him anytime if help is required. I do not think many Dr.‘s give their personal phone numbers these days.
I also loved Gina, she is the Dental Hygienist; Gina was very easy to talk to, gentle and professional. She is also quite attractive, which is not relevant to the point I am making but worth a mention. Finally, Steve the Dental Assistant; Steve was easy to work with and always helpful and accommodating. He was often multi-​tasking but never complaining.
Thank you guys for taking good care of my ugly mouth and for making me crack up. I love you and miss you.

What a remarkable Dentist. Seriously, he’s down to earth, kind, funny (He had my wife and I cracking up) and GREAT at what he does! I wish I could leave a 10 star rating.

My sister, who was a very picky dental assistant, referred me to Doctor Paul, after she had gone to him for several years. His personality is wonderful and his staff are great. It’s hard to find good dentists and he is very good about dealing with all generations, young and old.

I love Dr Paul! I have been his patient, along with my husband (and kids once they became adults, prior to that they see Dr Dean Schweitzer — great pediatric dentist), since his second year in practice! I was scared of dentists, so at first I had to be medicated but that stopped right away, as I quickly came to completely trust Dr Paul! I love how personable he and his staff are! How I can joke with them and how they remember and care about what’s going on in our lives, and how they basically make us feel that they care about us… because they TRULY do! Give Dr Paul a try and see if he’s a good fit for you, too!

Dr. Schoenbaum makes dental care easy! Dr. Schoenbaum and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable and caring. I have been going to Dr. Schoenbaum since the 1990’s; he has taken care of all my dental needs including exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and whitening. The staff is easy to work with and the office is about as low stress as a dental office can get. Everything is explained; I trust Dr. Schoenbaum.

The best dentist ever!!! Going to the dentist has always been my least favorite thing, until I started coming to Dr. Schoenbaum. He’s done 3 fillings for me and everytime I was super COMFORTABLE!!! Didn’t feel the shot or the filling. He makes sure you’re comfortable and pain free! HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!!

Dr. Paul Schoenbaum is the Best Dentist in Southern California! I have been going to him for over 20 years and he is the only Dentist I TRUST! If you need a dentist I HIGHLY recommend Paul Schoenbaum!
