NOM. Best grinders around. The outside isn’t much to brag about, but don’t let that fool you. Their grinders are always loaded with meats and veggies, and for the price it’s a win/​win. One grinder makes two meals for me! Seriously, do yourself a favor and get here. I recommend their BLT with cheddar cheese. (And add two Prince Polos for a dollar!)

Yum! Went here after my boss recommended it to pick up lunch. $ 6.50 for a foot long roast beef and cheese grinder with lettuce, mayo, salt, and tomatos. Everything, ESPECIALLY the bread, was fresh and delicious. Well worth it! I will be a regular from now on.
The area is kind of dumpy but don’t let it fool you, the produce is super cheap and fresh too!

Worst service today. Two girls behind the country great. Waited about 10 minutes and for one of the girls to get done behind the counter. She got done saw a friend from high school and proceed to talk about prom the took her order. I was trying to get dinner before school. Not waiting and truly annoyed. Not coming back anytime soon.

The sandwiches are awesome. I haven’t had a large grinder that was so mouth watering and flavorful since Torrington and New York. You get a 12 inch sandwich with soda included and you get a lot on the sandwich! A native polish family runs it. They are pretty good.

I was surprised. I stopped in for lunch the other day as they advertise a $ 5 grinder and they have good reviews. Well, I had the foot long Mortadella grinder. $ 5.50. The sandwich was good but for what they gave me, it would have been at least $ 8 any where else. Deff a value here and they don’t skimp on the quality. Great stuff. If your in the mood for a great sandwich, you have to make a trip here. They have other stuff as well but that’s all I had on this trip. Will update as I will be back

Besides produce and other products, the deli is always packed with customers waiting for sandwiches and grinders. I myself, visit often and order a grinder… The ladies behind the deli making the sandwiches are always nice and make the orders fast. The produce is always fresh, tastes great and nicely made…
This place is way fresher and better than crummy Subway.

right upfront i will tell you, it’s a deli/​sandwich shop/​polish grocery store/​etc. from outside it just looks like a dumpy bodega in a run down strip mall. on the inside, it is pretty much the same.
i had a sandwich and soda combo ($ 5) that makes subways $ 5 foot longs look like robbery. my sandwich of choice was a veggie/​cheese sandwich. most likely bigger than a foot (when dining at sandwich shops i should carry a tape measure). veggies were all super fresh, bread was a nice sandwichy not too soft not too crusty grinder roll, cheese was nice and cheesy. not really rocket science but the sandwich was delicious and cheap and there isn’t much more that you could ask for. i actually split this $ 5 sandwich with my wife and it was more than enough for both of us.
side notes — i got a large jar of pickled polish pattypan squash for about $ 4 … the pickle selection here was pretty unique albeit of a polish orientation. some of the fruits and vegetables were considerably less expensive than other stores. the cole slaw was not too exciting, but the fruit salad was fresh and a pretty good deal.

I don’t go anywhere else to get grinders anymore. Veggie World is the greatest! It’s just a grinder but for some reason It’s tastes better at Veggie World! Plus you get a 12 inch grinder and free can of coke for $ 5. They aren’t stingy on the meat and cheese which are all high quality and they also pile on the veggies. Aside from the deli, their produce selection is terrific and the prices are great too. It’s also fun to browse around the dry food aisles and look at all the Polish and other foreign candies, cookies and treats.

The very best grinder I have ever had. They are huge, LOADED with meats and cheeses and all the veggies are oh so fresh. We have them for 2 meals as they are so big. Well worth the wait when its crowded and worth the price ranging around 7.99 Their veggies and fruit are also very fresh. Very clean establishment. Highly recommend!!! Just wish they were open at night
