This is a great little local lunch spot. My son and I ate here, had the oyster po boy, sweet and sour Thai chicken, hand cut fries & fried ocra. All were excellent! Husband and wife team up here to offer a great little alternative to chain lunch spots!

Food awesome Small and cozy Ordered 8 jumbo fried shrimp and got 10 and they are definitely 2 biter shrimp!!! Sweet tea is a very tough representation of the way southern sweet tea should be. 4 stars only because a/c wasn’t turned on but the food made up for it! Perfect! Shrimp po’boyz(how Bee spells it) is amazing. Wonderful people that are hard working making incredible food. You’ll love the food and feel great supporting a mom and pop place.

Such a wonderful place. The service was personable, food was excellent, and it’s always good to support independently owned restaurants!

Nice little gem in Newnan. Food is good, but portions could be a little bigger due to prices of items. Sweet tea is great! Only gave it four stars due to portion size, great service though! I’ll be back

Over the top! It takes a lot to impress me with a shrimp poboy but this one did; the side of red beans and rice didn’t miss me. So glad I stop by here for lunch. I’ll be back on my next trip to town.

Hands down the best shrimp I have had. The flavor was perfectly spicy, but not too hot to enjoy. The owners were so nice and you can clearly see that they put their heart and soul into rach dish. I definitely will be back.

Ohmahgoodness! This is a gem of a find! Not only is the food outstanding, the owner/chef and his wife couldn’t have been more friendly. There were six of us eating an assortment of dishes, and six sets of eyes rolled around in gourmand delight at the first bites. We shared a Rock-slide Brownie and from-scratch banana pudding for dessert. The spoons flew fast and furiously. We realized we should have ordered more of the divine concoctions for allot us to be satisfied. All-in-all, we’ll be talking about this experience, this cute place for a long time! … But wait! We’ll be back before long. You should give Bee’z Eats a whirl. You’ll be so very glad you did! Yum!

Having moved to Newnan from Chamblee-Dunwoody less than 2 months ago, I was beginning to feel despair at the dearth of dining opportunities nearby. Where are the meat-and-threes, the family owned BBQ joints, and the genteel cafes? Tonight, after having consulted my Unilocal directory, we ventured to Bee’z. Diane and Bee are one hardworking, sweet couple! Their dream business has only been open a year, and the loyal following they have built is impressive. If you come looking for this place, it’s in a strip center on the north side of Millard Farmer, with a tiny sign over the door and no streetside sign at all. My wife had the steak cheesesteak, an impressive effort, very close to Mad Italian’s sandwich. I ordered a 4 piece fish platter with four shrimp, collards, and fried okra. The fish pieces were perfectly cooked in an exquisite corn meal crust, the shrimp all huge in their magnificent butterflyedness. The okra was above average, and the collard greens were my-t-fine, almost as delectable as the ones I cook. I spied ‘Nanner Pudding” on the menu board, so we split a large one: best ‘nanner pudding I’ve had since Ma Gooch’s in Cleveland, GA, before it changed hands! Going back. Count on it!

Wow!!! This is the best food that I have ever had in Atlanta! I had blackened grilled shrimp and grits and they were delicious!!! Omg… the cheese grits were the best grits that I have ever had. They were smooth, creamy, and oh so good! The shrimp were delicious and spicy. I had a taste of their tilapia and that was amazing too. Everything was just so good and I will go back multiple times and pass the word around on this place. It was a nice atmosphere that felt cozy and comfortable. You could definitely tell the owners care about their environment and the quality of food put out. It’s well worth the wait. I can’t wait to go back… but seriously, I can still taste the flavor of the grits in my mouth. Wow they were good!

Well once again Unilocal comes through with another great review! Chose to try Bees tonight not knowing anything about it and was pleasantly surprised! The place is small with maybe 10 tables, but immaculate with a board of health rating of 100! Very rare! Btw, Bee is the husband and Diane(wife) a delightful woman runs the money end! First off, it’s mostly seafood either grilled or fried. I chose the two piece whitefish. Cornmeal like breaking and hand cut French fries. Pretty darn good! Couple of hush puppies again real good and a side of green beans! Fresh green beans not from a number 10 can! Everything was cooked to perfection! After I was done-I spied a cake on the counter and asked… Diane told me her husband does all the baking! I ordered a slice. It was a pineapple bundt cake w cream cheese ice cream. Moist and very good! All in all, a delightful couple and great food! Give it a try, you won’t be sorry! Enjoy!

I have noshed at Bee’z twice now. A chicken philly cheese sandwich with rice and beans, and then a quick evening bite on their patio with my wifey. We had a burger with home made fries and a grilled/blackened shrimp poboy. Both were delish! The shrimp poboy was really well prepared with very large and tender shrimp, nicely spiced and a high quality French bread roll for the wrapper. Décor is basic, and no beer or wine. Patio is pleasant, but there is a little road noise. This is not a place to take a date, but a really awesome alternative to a chain sandwich shop. Highly recommended, especially if the weather supports eating outside.

After a busy day, I didn’t feel like cooking but I wanted something that felt like home cooking so I check this place out. It’s small and easy to miss in a small strip mall but thank goodness the gps pointed us directly to it. Staff was extremely friendly. You order at the counter, seat yourself and they bring it to you when it’s ready. We got the fried fish with a side of Mac n cheese & okra and the oyster poboy with homemade French fries. All came out piping hot, fresh, delicious and for $ 18 which included our drinks. Can’t beat that! We will be back and hopefully be regulars!

11:15 Lunch on a Thursday Philly Cheesesteak and Fries, Sweet Tea. $ 9.61 after tax. Has indoor seating, about 5 customers were eating when I arrived. I asked the person behind the counter for a recommendation. I was not disappointed. Meal looked a little small when it arrived, but it was quite filling. The Philly was superb. Hot, and precisely the taste that I was looking for. Good bun, but smallish. The meat was the star of the show, and it was not swallowed in an oversized bun. Fries were hand cut and seasoned with an unknown but good seasoning. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, and soft hot potato on the inside. Good alone, and with ketchup. Sweet tea was ok, but a bit heavy with lemon for my taste. They also had 20oz bottles, Coke Products. Service was swift and pleasant. Other patrons were raving about the fries, and were happy with other menu items I did not identify.

This restaurant is wonderful! Everything is made to order and fresh! I have had the Philly Cheese Steak, Fried Oysters, Bang Bang Shrimp and it is all fabulous! Omg and the collard greens! Try it-you will LOVE it!
