I am taking lessons from Brandon Lovelady at Canongate. I have had many lessons over the years and all the instructors have been helpful but Brandon is unique. He has all the technology and that is great but what I find is that he takes completed principles and makes them understandable with superior communication skills. Yesterday he explained the proper way to shift your weight to the right side after using technology to show me what I was not doing correctly. Every time I have a lesson I leave with a better foundation to improve. Applying that new information is up to the student of course.

I’ve just played my first 18 holes at this beautiful course,
and I think I’m hooked. When I say my first 18 holes, I mean my first ever, yep having never golfed before I can say the staff was friendly and helpful. Next comes lessons, I swing like it’s a baseball.
