Golden Corral

For the most part this location does a good job… We’ve held a few events there for our motorcycle ministry «Faith Riders «, they try and accommodate our needs.
Latest event was our «Valentine’s Day Sweet Heart Ride «which ended with a meal at Golden Corral… Needless to say they were extremely busy. But the staff did a nice job making sure we weren’t disappointed…
Our server did an great job keeping our drinks and other requests taken care of with a smile on her face.

I busted Golden Corral on a Sunday evening. Golden Corral claims the food is fresh, but it’s not. Food comes from cans. I would not recommend this place. It’s a waste of time. Newnan has many other restaurants that are better.

We had lunch here today. We had the lunch buffet. It was really good. The service was great and the food was fresh. I had the fried cat fish and vegetables my fiancé had the fried chicken mashed potatoes and the salad bar was very good. We are going to go back on friday.

Okay when you think of a buffet you might think of some cheesy place, but let me tell you Golden Corral in Newnan is no cheesy buffet. The place is almost spotless, the staff very friendly and attentive, the food is almost always fresh and if its not a quick question to the cooks will send them scurrying to get something fresh out there. All in all great resturaunt.

It was pretty Pricey. I think around 12 bucks plus a drink and tax. Then tips. So it ended up to be around 17 and the food wasn’t great.

The food quality has dropped dramatically, we use to go here 2 to 3 times a month, so when it started going down hill we thought maybe they would pick it back up but it just got worse, it was so bad the last time we went i asked for a refund, the food was discussing, nasty and down right gross, we have not been back and don’t plan to now we go to the green tomato buffet the good is great.

My brother and I were super excited to come here because he had heard from his friends during basic training that it was really good, and I had seen some pretty darn amazing commercials! There isn’t a Golden Corral near where I live in Orange County so yeah… you get my point! Excited!
It’s buffet style, each adult paid around $ 8 and seniors pay 60 cents less (okay, I’ll take it!) We went on a Friday during lunch and at first it was empty but people kept slowly rolling in.
The place reminded me a lot of Hometown Buffet, but better. There was pretty much everything you can think of that you would expect at a buffet. I think my favorite part was the chocolate fountain though… There were marshmallows, strawberries, and macaroons to dip!
3 stars because my experience was average. Everyone was nice and helpful.

A most nauseating display of human behavior. This is why I hate going to buffets.
The food is decent, but honestly, I lost my appetite watching people herd around the food bars like pigs at a trough.. .
This place has to have Roto Rooter on retainer, or have a close relationship with them.
It’s not my cup of tea, but when you have a huge group of people with different tastes, or perhaps are feeding a sports team, I guess this is your place.

got excited when i found out they had one here. its not as big as the one in california, but it was nice & clean. it wasn’t crowded but the waitresses took forever to clear our plates. they were on point with our refills though.

Best buffet in Newnan. We usually make a trip to this place once a month and the drive is worth it. If you are passing Newnan on I-​85 you should stop here, because the food is delicious.
