Wasn’t expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. The hamburger was delicious and fries homemade. Prices were decent for the amount and quality of the food.

Great place. It got very busy on a Satursatmy at 6pm. Our waitress was great considering we had a party of 12 with 5 kids! They only have Salad, hot dogs, wings or hamburgers. But they do have quite a few different choices of each of those. I saw they had outside seating in the back but it was too cold to sit out there. They have a full bar and service was great. One of the people in our party is alergic to Gluten so it was nice they had tons of Gluten free options. We are from Austin, tx and this is one unique restaurant that we would love to see in Austin. Austin is big on those quirky restaurants with variety menus. This was all around great. Only complaint was the french fries were hard as rocks. Almost burnt and no flavor. But everything else was great! We ate the buffole and chilli wings and I had the High West burger! Super good.

Yeah .this place is good. Great food: Healthy options: Good beer : Cocktails : Nice servers Pleasing décor/atmosphere: We don’t live in Newnan but we’ll be back if we ever find ourselves there again. *edit* stinks about their alleged mistreatment of employees. Happy employees=happy customers

We highly recommend this restaurant! We were in town for a weekend and looking for some tasty food. Meat«n» Greet did not disappoint! We ordered the MnG Burger with fresh cut fries and the High West Burger with Onion Tangles… both were delicious! The BBQ sauce used was tangy and gave the burgers an extra something special. The fries were tasty and the onion tangles are he bomb! Perfectly cooked, juicy burgers with a great tasting brioche bun. The waiter was friendly, and very on top of things. We never had to ask for a drink or napkins. A very good first experience!

Best restaurant and bar in Newnan. Food is unbeatable, the burger of the week is always to die for. Whole fried okra with chimi mayo is a MUST.

We were just eating at Meat-n-Greet. We were seated at our table by 6:15. We ate our food, but we were feeling rushed the entire time. At 7:10 the waitress(I could tell she was so embarrassed having to do this) came to our table and asked us to leave because they had a party of 10 that had a reservation and they needed our table. Didn’t offer to move us and have a drink on the house. Nothing. I’ve never had that happen before. And I definitely won’t be visiting there again. Food is decent. And good drink menu. However this is unacceptable service.

Saw how they treat their employees: take money from servers who only make $ 2.+change per hour to pay for meals of unhappy customers. Will never spend my money there again. Gave 1 star because I can’t leave zero!

This aaaamazing burger place has such a chill vibe about it. We always take our out-of-town guests here and they rave over it. It’s also our go-to date night place for unique food and bourbon flights! The full bar is great to sit and relax. I’ve tried many of their burgers and nothing here has ever disappointed. When’s our next date night again? Can’t wait to go back.

Visiting from Florida and went here with my family. It’s a cool little place but if you are a beer drinker. Beer is really not so great. They didn’t have two of the beers I asked for and the one the server recommended was bad. Food was solid but nothing out of this world or anything. My favorite was the fried okra for sure. Also the servers think they are pretty cool for working here and I found them to be on the snotty side. Get over yourself, this place is just okay.

I spent the weekend in Newnan visiting a friend, and after a day trip to Montgomery, Alabama, we didn’t want to drive into Atlanta for dinner. I had originally intended on taking him to Flip Burger, but we instead turned to Unilocal to find something close by. What we found was Meat ‘N” Greet in downtown Newnan right off the Courthouse Square, and we were not disappointed. The reviews likened the place to Flip Burger, and since that’s where I had originally planned on going, this gave the place bonus points already. While Flip is more of a modern feel, this place is a little more down home and rustic with the décor. We parked and then walked around the downtown area for a bit first… something I recommend if you’re not from the area. Not only did it work up an appetite and burn off a few extra calories(that I’m certain were replaced during my meal), it’s a beautiful downtown area full of local shops. I wish we would have gotten there earlier and had more time to spend walking around. Once we finally went into the restaurant, we were immediately shown to a high-top in the bar. The beer list written in chalk caught my attention, and I think I had my drink ordered before my friend even sat down. The menu describes their burgers as «Certified Angus Beef Blend of Chuck, Brisket, and Short Rib. Hand Pattied and served on a Handmade Artisan Brioche Bun.» I mentioned to our server that I wasn’t from around the area and to give me some suggestions on the most popular items, or what she would recommend. Her first recommendation was the Gaucho Burger($ 12), which included Avocado, Bacon, Fresh Jalapenos, Chimi Mayo, Arugula and Tomato. This one sounded tasty, but the jalapeño’s scared me a little on this one, so I skipped it. The next recommendation was the MNG Burger($ 11) — a patty with pulled pork, Mojo Slaw, White Cheddar and BBQ Sauce piled on top. My friend went for this one, but I kept listening for the next one. The final burger she recommended was the One Eyed Willie($ 12) that took the patty and added a Sunny Side Up Egg, Bacon, White Cheddar, Smoked Tomato Jam and Lettuce and Onion. This is the one I went for with a side of fries. My burger was cooked to a perfect medium — the way they recommend eating it. The egg was over hard instead of sunny side up, but still quite tasty. I got about two bites into this thing before admitting it was too juicy to try and eat with my hands, so I started butchering it with my knife and fork, but didn’t let one bite of it go to waste. If you’re in the area, make it a point to stop in and give it a try… especially if you’re a Flip fan. My burger here was right on par with Flip, and I might have enjoyed the portion size a bit more here than at Flip. Prices are reasonable and I didn’t have to drive an hour round-trip!

They serve the best burgers in town! My favorite here is the gaucho burger. My husband likes to get their spicy burger(can’t remember the name) which is pretty amazing! We’ll usually eat half of each other’s burgers. I also love their fries and fried okra. We’ve tried the wings here as well and they were great. I have nothing but good things to say about meat and greet. I just wish they were closer to our side of town.

Found this restaurant via Unilocal and your reviews did not steer us wrong! Sliders were delicious — pimento and bacon, burger and sloppy joes were our choices. I wish we’d ordered two orders and tasted them all! Very cool vibe — we ate on the bar side. Great music on the sound system, nice background but not too loud. Dessert of pecan bar with ice cream topped it off perfectly. We will definitely be back!

I’m sorry, did you say you wanted a town that’s cool and old school like Mayberry on drive-in night? Well, winner winner. This places fits perfectly into the downtown that’s somehow fresh but a blast from the past. Walk in and get nice old school country style, without being cheesy. The food is excellent and is the place I recommend to all my friends that land in ATL and have to travel west. I’ve had every hamburger there, every side, and all the desserts. It’s always been either 1) pretty darn good or 2) great. The desserts and special items(I’m talking about you brussel sprouts) will force you to gut punch the person who just ordered the last serving to ensure you get yours(sorry 8 year old girl, but it’s time to grow up and learn about disappointment.) The ONLY downside I can say is that a ten’fiddy can of beer here cost $ 10…that’s f’n crazy, even by bar club exotic nightlife in Dubai or Ibiza Spain levels. For that reason, stick with soda or tea, as only ballers can afford to get a buzz here. Drunk… well you must be a millionaire.

I was shocked at how much I liked this place. First off, pay the extra dollar to get the side salad. For just the basil dressing, it is entirely worth it, and I’ll be attempting to recreate it at home. It’s also topped with goat cheese crumbles – so good. I got the voodoo chicken sandwich, and it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Moist without being dripping, spiced well, and a great crunch in the slaw. The boys got the MNG burger and the one topped with pimento cheese – both were very happy with their decision. Awesome dinner!

Went here with some friends and an out of town guest. It was peak time on a Saturday night but they were very friendly and accommodated our party without a reservation. The waitress was great and very knowledgable about the menu. What they offer is fairly limited, but the items they offer are superb! We all shared an appetizer that included their fried okra, which is a «must try» in my opinion. I opted for the special. It was the Thai Burger and it was fantastic. I also order a salad before my meal and it was equally delicious. The rest of our group tried various burgers off the menu. At the end of our meal the only thing left was 5 empty plates! This is a fun place for families or a date. Keep up the good work!

Went with a huge fan of the restaurant, and wasn’t too disappointed. I had the Patty’s Melt(their Burger of the Week), a really tasty burger that had homemade 1000 Island dressing and wonderfully grilled onions that weren’t overcooked. My only contention with the sandwich was that it was not grilled once put together. I think this would have kept the medium burger from bleeding out into the bread, therein keeping the(not very) rye bread from getting soggy as you consumed the tastiness. Small complaint, but overall a tasty burger. The only reason I give 4 stars is the B3 burger, which is MnG’s veggie option. My gf is a vegetarian and was happy to try the options at a primarily meat inspired menu. I understand completely that basing ones review of a mainly carnivorous restaurant menu on the veggie options can be seen as unfair, but if MnG wants to advertise such items and bring in the odd vegetarian than I hope they work on making the bean burger a better and more tasty option. The main issue was the patty itself, it just didn’t have enough substance and broke apart at first bite. The taste was nice, but could have used a bit of egg yolk or other binding agent to keep it together and close to a patty consistency. The sides we shared were tasty. The fries were amazing, no qualms there. The fried okra(lauded upon by our server and fellow diner) was fine, I thought it being whole fried added to more okra flavor but was less crispy than sliced. The mayo dip that was recommended by our server added a nice zip the sides, but I don’t generally like to dip things in mayo since I want to keep my heart beating past my 30’s. Recommended highly, unless you have a vegetarian dining with you.

Had lunch there today. The atmosphere was very casual and tastefully done. Paintings on the wall are painted by the owners mom, which i loved. Christina was our waitress and couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend the the appetizer hummus. It’s homemade, served with fritos, cucumbers and carrots. Out of this world. We got a guacamole burger and a lunch salad(can’t remember the exact names cause there’s so many of both on the menu). Food was amazing. Also, fries and all salad dressings were homemade and awesome. Great décor, great homemade food, and great service!
