Company name should be «NOTSOSWIFTPAINTING» *Disclaimer — I do not take any pleasure in writing this. I wished the job was completed as quoted and discussed but it definitely was not. I never asked for a discount(I paid 100% balance due $ 0.00) based on job quality. This review is factual and I have many emails to back up any statements I make. I will post pictures and screenshots of emails as site permits. OK. Run don’t walk away from this company. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. What NOTSOSWIFTPAINTERS does is OVERPROMISE and UNDERDELIVER. My advice is to get everything written into the contract. I know some may think this is a personal attack. Just look at the pictures and ask yourself if you would want them painting your house. Throughout the problems I had I asked every day for Tom and/or Regina to come to the job site. Neither ever came. I told them that their name was on the job whether they showed up or not. Tom Fletcher and Regina Fletcher are the owners and are totally out of touch. Tom and Regina came to my home the day after I closed on the purchase. I had a cleaner in the house doing a DEEPCLEAN prior to moving in. Tom, Regina and I discussed the job and I was told Swift painters would provide 3 painters and it would take 2 days to complete.(I made a mistake no having that written in the contract). Here is an excerpt from an email from Tom. If we didn’t discuss time frame and number of painters why did he add the last sentence.“I am a bit confused with your time frame expectations as neither a set amount of painters nor time frame for completion is called out on your estimate or contract. If we spoke of a time frame for completion it was best case barring no other commitments or issues.“ I also told Tom, Regina, Daniel(Crew Leader), and the painter to be very careful with my living room floors. Day 1 I personally told Daniel(crew leader) and the painters to be careful with the floors. I was moving so I left them to their work. This is what they left at the end of day 1. Not 1 drop cloth, not 1 strip of plastic, and the website says a complete cleanup at the end of the day. I emailed Tom and Regina pictures and my reply from them was this. «Chris, Did Daniel call you? He is the painters lead. Tom» Not a sorry this is unacceptable, not I will personally handle this and this will not happen again. Just kick the can down the road. When the job was«completed»(I use that term loosely). They cleaned my floors with a gallon can of paint thinner and a rag. What do you think that did to the finish on my floors. I am having a flooring professional look at my floor next week and legal recourse is not out of the question based on the flooring companies assessment. I also told Tom that the crew lead told me he was going to spray the walls. I questioned him saying that Tom said spray the popcorn ceiling and the website clearly states BRUSHEDANDROLLED, NEVERSPRAYED. Here is Tom’s response to me via email. «As for the painting of the interior of a home, the painters like to spray if no furniture is in the home as it allows for them to get the job completed a bit faster. The brush and roll from my website is specific to the exterior of homes as it adds a better, thicker, longer lasting finish and aids in the paints capability to combat the fade caused by the sun.» My reply to Tom was he should read his own website. It actually says Brushed and Rolled in the interior painting description also. They ended up rolling my home but I was made to be the bad guy for demanding they actually do what their website says they do. Lastly, Tom the«Christian Man» owner sent me a very unprofessional invoice calling me an ASS. And when I replied very nice and very professional he called me a Bi-Polar Asshole. I never uttered 1 word of profanity or made any personal attacks. Just wanted you to know the type of person you will be dealing with. I have other specifics but I think you get the point. BUYERBEWARE.
