I’ve been going to Kim for close to 15 years now maybe? Anyway, great salon. Even though I live in Hawaii now, I still fly back and have my hair done by her. I don’t want anyone else to cut my hair. Besides, it’s nice to visit and see Marcus and Jason and others still there. It says a lot about a place when you go back and see some of the same faces. It seems like a great environment to work in. Everyone is always so nice.

I love this hair salon!!! Lauren is awesome at cutting hair — I wanted a lob from like boob-​length hair, and she did it perfectly :)!!! It’s super hard to find a haircutter you can trust, but Lauren listens to you, communicates well, and executes excellently :) thank you Lauren I LOV MY HAIR

I was so fortunate to have my hair done today by Kelli (color) and Lauren (cut & style). They did such a great job. I’ve been getting compliments all day! All I can say is — -these ladies know hair! Thank you ladies!

Marcus has given me the best haircuts I’ve ever had, I have a ton of hair that can be really hard to cut and he always does an amazing job. He couldn’t be nicer and I am so glad I found him!

Clarissa Cristobal recently highlighted my hair and I love it. I’m a hairstylist myself so I know what I want and what I like. I usually don’t like my hair to be light but the placement and tone of the highlights were perfect! She did a great job at listening to what I wanted. She’s stuck with me forever now haha!

I’ve been going to AHSI since the day they opened over 10 years now. Their newest Stylist Lauren recently cut my hair and in combination with the amazing colorist Kelli, they gave me a whole new look that left me obsessed as I walked out the door. I always leave there loving my hair, but this last time I also left with so much confidence and an extra pep in my step.

Clarissa has been doing my highlights and tint for years, I wouldn’t go to anyone else unless I absolutely had to! She is incredible at what she does! On top of her being talented she makes being there very enjoyable.

Looking for a stylist and colorist is akin to looking for the perfect pair of jeans; you have to try so many until you find the perfect fit. AHSI is just that perfect fit!
I had my haircut with Marcus and could not be more pleased. He understood what I wanted and took the time and care with my cut. He is so pleasant and easy. After the cut I mentioned to him that I’d love to go lighter for the summer and he introduced me to Kelli.
A month later (yesterday) I went back in to see Kelli. After discussing what I wanted (low maintenance, lighter color) and what she thought would be best, we decided for a baliyage! She worked her magic and the color looked great. Kelli is sweet and down to earth!
I’m so thrilled to have found these two master stylist and master colorist in such a laid back salon without the pretense. Their work does all the talking!

I cannot say enough great things about Marcus Waite!
As a gal with less-​than-​manageable hair (it’s that difficult combo of frizzy/​curly and thick), I spent most of my life searching high and low for someone who could tame my mane. I almost gave up on ever finding that stylist, and almost believed they didn’t exist… until I met Marcus!
Marcus just GETS hair. It’s amazing to see him work his magic. He really takes it ALL in to consideration — your hair texture, your facial profile, what level of maintenance you want … all of it. He’s so thoughtful, and when you’re in his chair you feel like you’re the most important client he has all day.
And equally important, he’s the NICEST guy you’ll ever meet. I promise you that.
I’ve been going to Marcus religiously for the last five+ years, and my hair has never looked better. Any time spent in his chair at Ahsi is the highlight of my week — I ALWAYS look forward to it, and I walk out feeling amazing.

Awesome place to get a haircut and relax. Jason is the man, great friendly customer service. He did a great job on my hair for my wedding day. He also did my wife’s hair and she loved it instantly. She wants to return ASAP! A+!

Kristen at Ahsi Salon is by far the best stylist I’ve ever had. I recently moved out of Orange County, and drive over 30 miles just to have my hair done by her. She’s that good at what she does. She knows all the latest techniques of cut and color, and always leaves my hair looking beautiful, natural, and effortless.

I just want to say thank you to Jason Tate for an amazing hair cut. He puts so much detail and attention into his haircuts and at the same time making you feel comfortable. Thanks again broskie!

Kristen Luna Page is totally amazing. I know her from San Francisco, where she has cut my hair for the last 8 years. I don’t do color but my friends who do, love her work. I have gone from long to short to in between and she has never given me anything but a perfect cut! She listens well to what I want and need, understands my style, and is artistic, creative, very professional, and so great to talk to! I’m thinking about driving to Southern California just to see her!

Kelli colors my hair and she’s a-​maazing! I’m a dark brunette and she has created the most beautiful mixture of carmel and mahogany. I get so many compliments wherever I go. Thanks Kelli!

I always have my hair cut by Jason. He is a very nice and handsome man who is very interesting to talk with during the transformation process. Everyone else has been kind to me as well, and even though it’s difficult for me to afford haircuts there often, I will save my money so that I can specifically go there.

I have been seeing Kelly for over a year now.
When I first came to Kelly, I had been trying to grow my hair out for years and it wouldn’t budge. (probably because I love bleach blonde so much). In the last year I have been going to her, my hair is halfway down my back! I also did not have to say good bye to the bleach blonde that I love. Might be a tad pricey, but you get what you pay for! Everyone there is always very friendly. Every time I walk in I am offered water, tea, coffee. They also have allowed my little dog to come with me when I am unable to run him home after work.

I’ve been getting my hair done by Kim for a little over four years and cannot say enough nice things about her. She’s incredibly talented and she is the only person I trust to cut my hair.

I have since gone back to Jason, and the results have been nothing less than stellar.
My style has ranged from short to long, and everything in between (obviously). Jason can do it all. Not only does he know what cut looks best with my face shape, he provides impeccable service and personal attention.
Yes, my hair still looks good today as the day I stepped out of the salon.

First off I’m a guy. And second this review is for Abel. Now, I’m not sure what to call Abel, because hair cutter sounds bad, hair stylist doesn’t make sense (since I’m really there for the cut) so I’ll say — Hair Professional. Abel is AWESOME! I’ve lived in Orange County for about 2 ½ years, and during the first year I tried a bunch of places — some good, some not-​so-​good. But over the past year or year and a half I’ve been going to Abel at Ahsi. During the time I’ve had short and medium/​longish hair — Abel is able to do it all!
On a second note — Ahsi is a great establishment, they have a great front desk staff, very kind, and they provide coffee or tea. Also Abel is always right on time. I’ve had some hair not-​so-​professionals in the past be late 10−15−20 minutes and it completely throws off my day and the entire point of scheduling a hair appointment.
Anyway — Abel is AWESOME! And Ahsi is a great establishment.
PS — The music in that is played in Ahsi is really cool to!
