Very professionally managed salon. I appreciate the appointment confirmation texts and reminders. Friendly staff and management in a relaxing environment. Hilary Roesch is the BEST in the business. I have been having her cut, color and straighten my hair for many years and she is a master of the graduated Bob.

I would like to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to Miss Erin Bond for working with my hair! I’m mixed women (Mexican, Native/​African America, French, Italian and Russian) and it’s hard for me to find someone who truly knows what to do with my hair. The last time I stepped foot in a was 10 years ago for a treatment like this to help manage my hair and i woke up the next morning with my head burning to the point that when I touched certain areas I actually had blood on my hand and my hair never grew back the same again! My mother and a few of my family members go to her and they always come out looking amazing and ready to hit a red carpet somewhere! So finally after a ton of hesitation I decided to try it. Erin talked me through step by step of what was going to happen, what product she would be using and how it was going to alter my hair and every time I thought about getting nervous she would have a 6 sense to say something that calms me down. When she finally finished all I could say was omg! My hair has never been this straight in my life and I have gone outside to walk my dog on the beach and for the first time I didn’t have to bring a scarf, hat and hoodie to cover my hair!!! #inolongerlooklikeshakaconsdaughter!!!

Katie gave me a great cut & blow dry. Afterwards I was walking around South Coast Plaza and a little old man said to me «Doing some shopping? …looking good pretty girl». Score… even if he was 85 years old. LOL. Thanks to Katie’s scissor skills no doubt.
I love my haircut but the shampoo was pretty much just putting shampoo on my head and rinsing it out. I would have greatly appreciated a good head scrub and massage, that’s one of the majors pleasures of going to a salon. Still, Katie gave me a great cut.

My mother was very dissatisfied when she went here with Ginna, for over 3 hrs and after $ 100 for highlights and $ 80 for coloring she came home with the look she’ll get with a box from the beauty supply store– and much darker than her usual tone choice

Leah did the most amazing job on my highlights! Beautiful salon. Excellent customer service and Leah made me look so beautiful. Highly recommend!

Katie Katie Katie. She is so amazing. This is my second time visiting her in a semi emergency state. From now on I’m not going to let anyone else touch my hair. I came in with a really bad haircut that was impossibly short to work with and had big chunks missing in the front. We were thinking we might need to Put extensions In to fill in the holes but she actually transformed it into something I love just with her scissor skills. Wow. She knows hair and she knows how to make you look your best.

I recently went in to see Kai because I needed a transformation. I know it sounds silly, but I had a traumatic haircut when I was a young girl and have had anxiety about getting my haircut ever since. Kai made me feel so comfortable and has such a great eye! She cut off 8 inches and turned my long hair into a stylish lob (long bob) with the most natural highlights. I absolutely love it!!!

Highly recommend Katie P as a stylist. She’s incredible, I trust her completely with my look — barely give her any direction and I’m always pleased with the result!
She’s also so sweet, makes the whole experience so easy and such a pleasure.
She’s one of those stylists that you hang on to!

Kai Colomac has been my stylist for over 10 years now and I can’t say enough good things. I’ve since moved up to LA but drive down to OC just for my cuts with her. I’ve tried a couple high-​end 5 star rated places here in LA but but they just don’t have consistency, precision, and desire for perfection that Kai has, not to mention she is a lot of fun to chat with and seems to love what she does. It’s great being able to get a haircut and have zero fear that I’m going to be frustrated with my hair for the next month.
I would highly recommend Kai, you can’t go wrong.

Not every stylist can tame my wild mane! I can’t tell you how many terrible moments I have had walking out of various salons over the years. I have a TON of hair and I am a blonde. It’s frizzy and crazy and can be weird with holding color and has done some unexpected strange things.
Kai has been doing my hair consistently for the past several months and I am finally feeling like it’s the hair I have always wanted. My color is beautiful and my cut is perfect every time. She has a great perspective on style and making suggestions based on your face shape. She always gives me great recommendations on different remedies to try for whatever issue I am having with my hair at the time. And she always takes the time to show me how to style my hair so I can actually do it myself when I get home. She is really great!
And not only that, she is incredibly sweet and welcoming every time I see her. I am so thankful I found her.

You need to come here and you need to ask for Kai! She’s great with both cut and color. She knows what she’s doing and will give you the look you are going for. You won’t be sorry!

The salon is beautiful and Kai is a great stylist! She is a perfectionist and my hair always looks amazing when she’s done with it! She always knows exactly what I want and listens to my concerns. I can be indecisive and her advice is well informed and she has great taste. Highly recommended!

Kai is the best hairstylist I have had. She has had over 10 years experience, and she’s passionate about continuing to learn. In the past, I had found that the more «experienced» were stuck in their ways while new stylists are making mistakes. Kai has both the experience and passion! She loves what she does and it shows! People are always wanting to know where I get it done. The salon is great too! You can’t beat the ocean views, the friendly staff and the coffee. :) I am a mom of 3, so when I take the time to get my hair cut and colored, I want it to feel like a break and true pampering. That is exactly how I feel visiting Kai at Armando salon. I look forward to it each time!

I’ve been on a quest for the past several years to find anyone to compare to my guy up in Beverly Hills. I would haul from OC up there to spend basically a full day just to get my hair cut in a way that just «falls right» and winds up yielding more good hair days than bad. Her name is MERRILY… I finally found her! Yes, I know this sounds like looking for love, but looking for someone that you enjoy going to, and gets your hair feeling great and beautiful on a daily basis isn’t something to be minimized. I think my husband is grateful I curse a lot less at the bad hair days.
She’s so sweet and friendly, not in an overbearing way at all, and she’s got great vision for how your hair will flow well. I’m so happy with how she’s got some funky cut areas growing out well. After two visits, I’m definitely going to keep going to her!
Oh, and the prices are way more fair than BH prices. :) So make up for it with extra generous tipping, you’re getting just as great quality!

For the past 9 years, I have been a regular client at this salon.
My stylist («Tony») is a talented colorist who restored volume, luster and shine to my hair. Before I started seeing Tony, my hair was dry, with split ends, and dull. Tony dedicated a lot of time and attention to my hair and made sure that my hair was treated gently, and without the use of unnecessary chemicals. Now, I love the healthy volume and beautiful shine of my hair. An added bonus is the salon staff: they’re friendly, professional, considerate and courteous. The salon itself is well-​maintained, very clean, spacious and inviting. When I go to the salon, I can relax, and let the salon take care of me!

This Salon is spectacular in every way. Incredible location on PCH, and the interior has a great feel to it. Joshua does my wife and sons hair and I can not thank him enough. My wife always looks gorgeous and my son looks like a child superstar when he comes out of their salon. I have only been in a few times while I waited because my hair abandoned ship a long time ago, but If I had a head of hair worthy of their treatment, this is where I would bring it.

I can’t say enough good things about this salon. From the gorgeous drive up by the harbor to the very friendly staff, awesome hairstylist and über chic surroundings, this salon is the place to get your glam on!

Jonathan Potalivo is the best hair stylist I have ever had. I am very picky and hard to please, but some how he always gets it right. His haircuts are amazing, so perfect and precise. Not only that, but you can talk to him so easily it’s like you’ve known him for years.

I found Armando salon online through a groupon from Dennis Lee. Came in for a cut and color. The first time I came in they told me they did not have me scheduled for anything even though I had called in and made an appointment almost a week prior, but that’s okay mistakes happen. One of the girls told me they are converting over to a newer system so i’m guessing that’s where the mistakes are coming from. They rescheduled me to come in the next morning. & my experience made up for the hicup.
I sat with Dennis for about 10 minutes for a consult before he started doing my hair. He was very detailed about what he was doing and what kind of dye he would be using, etc. which I really appreciate. & He’s been doing hair for 20+ years so he’s obviously very experienced. Then he and his assistant (katie) who is also very sweet, went to work! They took me from blonde to brunette and I love the result! The first time the dye did not take completely on my bangs which Dennis noticed when he was drying my hair so he went back over it. You can tell he works very hard to ensure his guests have a good experience and good customer service is a top priority for him.

The salon also has a really nice, chill atmosphere. They are located on a second story building right above ‘Beach Bunny’. So all in all, I enjoyed my experience here and I will be back. Ask for Dennis! :)

There’s a reason that Piere is the best colorist in the OC. He can simply look at your hair and know what is going to compliment your face, your coloring, etc.
The salon itself is very posh. Located right next to the Ferrari dealership and above a very high end jeweler. The entire staff of the salon are hospitable and friendly. They have lots of complimentary drinks for you to try while you are being worked on.
I highly recommend Piere for all your needs. He doesn’t come cheap ladies, but seriously quality hair coloring shouldn’t be cheap.
