I love Dr. Bae. She is sweet, and gives you more time than you need! Going to see her is like going to catch up with a friend. But she does know her stuff, and her great personality finally persuaded me to run some standard tests that I had been avoiding (with other Drs they didn’t listen to my concerns, but she did and gave me ideas to work around my fears and gave me confidence to just go do it!!)
Sadly, I just got a letter that she no longer accepts Cigna (my crappy plan) and so I have to find another Dr… I am very very sad!!!

Dr. Sharon Bae is SO SWEET! Very down-​to-​earth and just so nice and caring. Really, very unexpected in a Doctor’s office, especially in Newport!
Her staff is good, too — this is a big deal, because you want a competent staff who knows how to handle your insurance paperwork and they’re the ones you deal with on the phone, so you don’t want to deal with someone with no customer service skills. Here, they are very nice and efficient. Fantastic!
Office is very clean and has great magazines — not that you’ll notice, because they’re very good about staying on time (don’t you hate it when a Doctor runs 1 hour late for an appointment? Another kudos to this office).

Dr. Sharon Bae possesses the interpersonal skills so often missing from today’s medical practice. When she enters the examining room, she has reviewed your chart and spoken with her assistant. She comes in fully aware of your medical history and why you have made the current appointment. Then she sits down and listens to what you have to say before she begins the examination. She evaluates and treats. She is kind and thorough and cares about her patients. Her staff is also wonderful.
