Sadly it’s an end to an era. The first restaurant in Fashion Island’s history has closed. So sad. I’ll miss my weekday morning special with the waiters who have worked their for 16+ years.

Inside has private room sits 43, wifi access, and plugs. American food is edible. But so awesome that they have a private area in the back that you can rsvp. Great for meetings, bringing a projector and such. Wifi is not reliable. This Coco’s is near Fashion Island.

Jojo was our server today. He was very nice. Food is ok as you would expect. Not great but quick. They turn the tables quick.

Quiet, family restaurant located outside of Fashion Island. They have an excellent menu with a wide variety of choices including a light fare menu. Quick seating, but the service was a little bit slow.

It’s hard to believe they are still open for business. On a recent visit, I had to ask for menus, they forgot my drink and I waited so long for the check, I had to find someone to track down the waiter to get the check. Perhaps, if the restaurant was buzzing with business, I could understand the lack of attention. I came away with the feeling that the staff was happier about customers leaving than their arrival. Customer service & retention is clearly not part of Coco’s mission statement. With ample dining choices nearby, cross off Coco’s Fashion Island. A clean sweep of management & intense customer service training could perhaps redeem this restaurant.

We dined here yesterday morning for breakfast. I had eaten here before, though it was a couple of years ago since I had eaten here last. This place has really gone downhill. The waitress was nice, when we saw her. Empty coffee cups! I hate that for breakfast! The food wasn’t any better. Nothing worse than cold toast which had something gross on it they tried to pass off as butter. The bacon was so thin you could see through it! The eggs were cold, and so were the potatoes. The potatoes looked and tasted like they had been sitting around for a week in someone’s refrigerator! Nothing worse than bad service and bad food. It even took me forever to get the check! And the place wasn’t even that busy! Which is not surprising. You’ll be better off at McDonalds. It’ll be a lot cheaper and the food will be a he’ll of a lot better.

This placed sucked. The waitress was rather rude and was very unattentive. And I’m not even usually nit picky about service at all. Not only was the service bad but the food was blah too. I guess whats what you get for paying the price. The menu certainly looked tasty but the food was blah. I could have made a better breakfast myself. The scrambled eggs tasted like egg substitute and the potatoes still tasted frozen. The sourdough bread was just drenched in butter. It was just a bitter experience, I wouldn’t return again.

This was a decent meal. This particular Coco’s is located on the edge of fascist island, decent spot to stop in for breakfast. Be wary– on the weekends its old people central(maybe on the weekdays too). Our waitress was attentive to us and patient when we couldnt decide what to order. I had the pacific scramble and i probably wont order it again. it sounded good on paper but the execution was lacking. it was a scramble with bacon, spinach, tomato, onion and topped with swiss. it turned out watery and flavorless. decent iced tea, plenty of refills, my glass was never empty long. how did breakfast for 2(with entrees priced around $ 10) wind up costing $ 40 before tip? that’s a good freaking question. *boggle*

It is a great place to sit and relax. My wife and I frequent this location on our dating anniversary and one of my fondest memories is from our second Anniversary when I gave my wife a little silver ring with an inscription, we were all of 16 and this adorable older waitress asked if she said yes… well she did eventually :)

Got in around 9 for a quick breakfast and we sat right at the breakfast bar. Service from Jan was quick and good. We each had a breakfast sandwich(very, very good), hash browns, and 1 cup of tea. Cheap, good, and FAST! Total — 14.12
