J Grady Select Wines

J. Grady is what a small wine shop is all about. A small selection of rare finds and most of the bottles are priced under $ 20. J. Grady gives you a way to drink quality vino affordably everyday at home.
This place is open only on Saturday from 1−5pm and tucked in the back of the lot with plenty of free parking. Each tasting varies, but when I went, it was $ 10 for a tasting of 8 wines.

4 Reds (Spain, Portugal, Italy, CA)
1 Cellar Wine (Loire/​Chenin Blanc/​95 vintage)
The fantastic company, conversation, and wines equal to a perfect Saturday. The owner, Jerry, was passionate for the wines and the best part of meeting him is throwing my suggestion for future tastings. Come oooon, South African’s wines!

Open every Saturday 1 – 5 wine tasting
Love this place, the owners are awesome, Jerry and Virginia are a sweet couple and they make everyone feel welcome. Wine tastings are $ 8 and generally get at least 6 tastings along with food. Jerry makes a tasty dish to go along with the tastings.

You really have to hunt this place down. They are only open on Saturday, but they can do events. Call to check.
A great selection of good quality wines at moderate prices. If you are into expensive glass ware check this place out. They have great prices. I am always very happy when I leave. You might want to consider a designated driver after a tasting. Their pours are generous. Love it and can’t wait to go back.

If you are into wine tasting this place is so much fun! Jerry, the owner, knows every grape in the world and purchases wine lots at terrific prices and then passes the savings on. You can taste from 1−5pm most Saturdays and it is a blast. There’s a little community of regulars that love wine and food and are so fun to chat with. I think they’re doing a champagne tasting next Saturday. His prices are among the lowest in the OC, both for tasting and buying. Too fun!

Jerry knows wine. This is a great place to go on a Saturday. Very relaxing, great price and good company. With each wine that is poured he will tell you some history of the wine. Once you are on his mailing list he will send an email each week about what will be poured. So much fun to visit with all of the regulars too.
