Gorgeous store at fashion Island!
Service is nice, I love the assortment of furniture and décor, young, fun, colorful.
The prices range from acceptable to out of reach for most, I go for inspiration mostly and still feel very welcome even if I am just browsing.

If/when we redecorate our house, and I had an unlimited budget, it would probably end up looking a lot like this store. When I first learned of Jonathan Adler, I thought he was quite an odd bird. But when I began to learn/see more of his design aesthetic, I started to fall in love. Clean, modern, timeless, and quirky. All rolled up into one vase or a canister for your ganja. It’s very tongue in cheek and it might offend some, but it’s so much fun.
Staff is always super nice but not smothering at all. Even though all we ever do is look. One day I will buy something. One day…

I lived in Southern Cal for 8 years and let me tell you– JA is THE place to go! (I also reviewed an independent designer favorably with a 5 star — starts w a B– she’s awesome. (and another blonde one who designed our house on here that i would NOT recommend at all) BUT JA is awesome. I recommend ANY of their in house designers and love love love this place. MIss it so much now too!

What’s not to love about JA? So chic, yet so kitschy… just love the juxtaposition of JA. The service in the store is good, my only suggestion is to remember that not all of us dress in our designer wear to shop folks. Remember Pretty Woman? Never judge a book by its cover or a serious shopper in jeans and a T. Once I needed help with my bundle of goodies, the staff became charming and helpful, I can’t mark down for this oversight, I just want to bring it to your attention.
Now back to the great finds! I purchased some of Jonathan’s beautiful stitched alphabet pillows as well as some great Xmas gifts. If you are looking for fun, unique additions to your home or a truly special gift, stop in and bring home a piece of JA into your life, it just makes it a happier, certainly more chic place to be!

The personnel at Jonathan Adler were extremely helpful! Roxie was amazing. She’s a designer at heart, and is apparently starting her own line of design soon. Our two kids were running around the store, but the staff was surprisingly very tolerant and engaging. Their stuff is pricey, and probably more reserved for those with a discerning eye for style and little regard to cost.
After two days of shopping there, the wife finally convinced me that we needed to purchase the Junior Lampert Sofa in the color «Basket Ice.» It’ll be a perfect addition to our kids playroom. Hopefully, it’ll survive the abuse our kids put it through, as they’ve already used it for everything from a reading chaise lounge to a jumping launch pad. It’s solidly built, and reminds me of those miniature-sized furnitures that you often see on television sets like Jay Leno. Hence, I plan on using it for college dorm room furniture when the kids get older.

amazing eye candy in this store… if only money grew on trees!
Beautiful furniture, pottery, décor, design. I was especially happy they had samples of the wallpaper I am considering for the inside of a built in cabinet!
If you are a fan of Palm Springs, mid century modern and all things bold and graphic, this is your home away from home.

This store is a nice addition to Fashion Island, and Newport Beach. I hadn’t heard of Johnathan Adler… before I received a Christmas Gift from their store which I wanted to return. I walked into the store and was pleasantly surprised. As a fan of Mid Century Modern Architecture, Design, Art, and furniture I felt at home here. My impression is that a lot of the items are inspired by MCM design. They offer a wide variety of home décor items including furniture, wall décor, lighting, rugs, pottery, bedding, and candles. I have a couple favorites here: (1) the C. Jere Sculptures (not vintage but handmade under license); (2) the Pepper and Earl Grey Pop Candles; (3) and the Menagerie MCM animal shaped stoneware figurines.
It’s nice to walk into a store with color!
And I have to say it was nice to receive Friendly Service!
