Love love love! I had the greatest time kayaking with my husband, 18 month old and 3 yr old. I had extreme anxiety prior but really wanted to kayak. Brian gave us tips and made the experience so much better. We ended up kayaking for a little over an hour and the girls loved it. We even saw sea lions or seals not sure the difference! And such a great price.

I’ve been to Just Paddle a couple of times now and Brian the owner is great. Very helpful and nice. I like this location because the water is nice and calm in the little canal. Rental prices are very reasonable too. You can paddle around the island in about and hour or take a longer adventure. Either way it’s a fun experience!

My brother, his girlfriend & I took my 4 daughter’s & our nephew ages 15, 15, 13, 10, & 8 yrs old out to Balboa Island yesterday. We decided to try paddle boarding for the first time. I was a little nervous at first taking so many kids out, but Brian from Just Paddle was awesome! He was so nice and patient with the kids, he made us all feel comfortable and right at home on the boards. We went all the way around the Island! My girls & nephew are still talking about how much fun they had. My nephew said «That was the most fun I’ve ever had at the beach in my whole life tia!» lol not that he’s so old, but I think it was the most fun I have ever had at the beach too :) we even seen a few seals! It was amazing & we can’t wait to go back…

We found Just Paddle on Unilocal and called to check availability. Brian (owner of Just Paddle) offered to come pick us up since we were a few blocks away. Within 5 minutes, he was there to pick us up. I was with a group of 6 people but we managed to cram into Brian’s suv. His little boy, Chandler gave us a brief training and took us on a tour in the paddle boards. We had so much fun! Brian was so nice he even offered us cold water afterwards and gave us a ride to get frozen bananas. We’re totally coming back!!!

We wanted 4 paddleboard and a kayak they have more than 10 boards so big groups are ok this guys and his little man was so nice made us feel at home at like locals

I was a first time paddle boarder this place provided an awesome experience! The owner is super attentive, friendly, and throws in a couple of bonuses. He came out with us and we received a free guided tour of the island. Pricing was reasonable and owner and son were just genuinely all about having a good time. I left the place with a complimentary water and a golf cart ride back to my car. A+!

This was my first time paddle boarding and Brian and his son, Chandler did an awesome job making the experience a lot of fun. They took us on a tour, were very friendly and it’s great how Brian is teaching Chandler how to run a business. And at the end, Brian was very kind to drop us off till our parking on his golf cart!
I would definitely return here next time I want to relax on a weekend paddle boarding.
