I can see why Stephanie gave this place a one star lol. The first lady I talked to is VERY direct and to the point. But every one you talk to is different. I talked to Erica afterward tho. She’s really nice… and very pretty. Good selection but not the best. They have really cool relics tho. I think they have a dinosaur bone on display there. The price they gave me for my silver was ok. They only accept cash for precious metals.

I came into London Coin last week for the first time to buy some gold coins after being referred from a friend. At the time they did not have the exact coins I was looking for however they were able to place an order for me. They were very friendly and the location felt very safe and secure. I would undoubtedly be back again.

Tammy at London Coin is awesome! This is truly a place where time stands still. I brought some of my grandfathers old coins and watches in to be appraised and found a trove of historical artifacts that blew my mind from all over the globe. I recommend this place for collectors, hobbyists and estate sales at least.

Today was my first visit and will not be my last. The shop is well lit and organized. I was immediately greeted but not in a pushy manner. When I need assistance, it was available with no attitude. One detail is their limit of $ 5,000/year limit on cash transactions for bullion purchases… but that may not matter to some. I will be back soon.

I have been to London coin gallery in NB several times. They have a much
better attitude than Huntington Beach coin. They quote a price and I either
accept or decline. This is not a place to haggle!

I also would give London. The Manager Tammy is the rudest women I have encountered in quite some time. From the moment my wife and I walked in, she was demeaning. We continued to work with her, because she seemed knowledgeable. During the discussion, she quoted a higher price for Silver than the live quote I was getting from Kitco. The price was quite a bit a lower and when I asked her she said, «Well, it moves all the time, are you going to tell me when it goes up»? I am a light hearted guy with a great life… I rarely argue with anyone, so I laughed it off and said, «Heck no, I am only going to tell you when the price goes down»
When it came time to exchange the cash for the Silver, I looked at my price again and said, «Hey, it did go up a bit in your favor» and jokingly said, «I’m just keeping it real»
At this point she said «LOOK, I don’t care what your app says about silver price, my price is the only one that matters». I asked why she was being argumentative and she turned everything around on me, insinuating I was grinding on her. Why would I have told her the market moved in her favor, if this was the case?
It gets worse… I then asked her if I could deal with the owner and she said she was the owner. At that point my wife and I decided to leave. On the way out, I stopped at the door and asked her if she really was the owner, because I could not imagine the owner of any business in the 21^st Century, treating someone like that. She glared at me and said nothing. We left.
15 minutes later, I called back and asked for the owner. I was transferred to Tammy. the impolite woman and she said, «I may not be the owner, but the owner is not involved any longer and this is my business, you have to deal with me». She went on to say, she had to shut down the operation when I walked out, because I «Turned on her». What a strange thing to say… clearly she was posturing for when I do reach the owner.
I wont call the owner, because my Dad told me when I was a kid, «The fish stinks from the head». I never forgot that statement and realized that an owner that cared, would not have a manager with that attitude. I do hope the owner reads this and deals with the situation. I live in the area and have been accumulating a fair amount Silver, it sure would be convenient to trade there.
In my World, people still matter and everyone deserves to be treated respectfully.
Maybe these guys are honest and maybe they are not… There are Unilocal comments suggesting they are not, but I have no way of knowing. All I know is that people should be able to ask questions without being treated offensively.

I’ve bought and sold coins, bars, etc. and I’ve always had good experiences. They do cash and carry so I don’t have to worry about a bunch of paperwork or other hassles. I also find their prices to be good and that’s consistent whether buying or selling. I’d highly recommend them.

I had a wonderful experience with London Coin. They have a beautiful place. I highly recommend them for their honesty and integrity.
