Nespresso

Coffee gets a 4 rating. NESPRESSO corporate’s online promotions and credits get a NEGATIVE stars. They have shown a bunch of promotions such as when you spend $ 100 you get a $ 75 credit. I have not once been able to actually use the credit. What a scam. When I wrote them they sent me through an obstacle course to get the credit. I had to fill out all these web pages talk to all these people. Then they said wait a few weeks. I waited and waited and still have been unable to use the credit. The IRS should investigate. I love everything else about Nespresso but the games they play with the credits is not ethical.

How lucky am I to have some of the best coffee and chocolate near me. I have been a loyal nespresso fan for about a decade and while I typically buy them directly from Europe (better pricing) nothing beats the convenience of having a boutique down the street. The service here beats any boutique I’ve visited in Europe and the associates are able to dwindle down the lines fast. I want to especially call out Jodi McCannon for going out of her way to resolve my mini chocolate crisis today in time for my mother’s birthday. Despite the store being super busy for the holiday weekend she was able to make things right. Would like to also thank the woman who introduced me to them in the first place (did not catch her name but wonderful European woman who also hooked me up with a nespresso card key chain!). I’ll be a customer for life!

I love Nespresso products and this store carries everything you need. It’s very convenient to have the store in Fashion Island vs. ordering online or going to South Coast Plaza’s Bloomingdales. The store is very crowded every time I go but the lines move pretty quickly. The cashiers taking your order are definitely focused on moving you in and out with a ‘what do you want to buy’ approach. You don’t feel like you can ask any questions regarding the coffee and espresso options. We have some favorites we always order but I felt pressed to keep it moving. They do supply a ‘menu’ upon request which is pretty helpful. It is a nice touch that they offer you a coffee while you wait in line.

This purchase is going to be so much trouble lol! Great service and lovely tasting recommendations I would have never tried if I would have just ordered online.

This store is a lot better than the one in the Bloomingdales in Costa Mesa. It’s an actual store, and not just a segment of a department store.
The people here are friendlier and knowledgable. I remember it being near the Macys in Fashion Island.
The layout of the store indicates that its geared towards their machines. When you talk to them, you can sample and taste the variety of flavors. This is why I was there, and I’ll be back to buy them here in the future. It’s a bit pricy but honestly, I have an all-​in-​one machine espresso machine that cost me several Nespresso machines, and I prefer the simplicity of the Nespresso machine with their capsules over the one that grinds, presses, and squirts out shots by itself. The all-​in-​one is very mechanical and I can see that there are a lot of moving parts that can go bad. For a $ 1,000 machine, that’s a big failure if something goes wrong. The Starbucks espresso roast beans don’t always fall into the holes from the reservation, either from the wax on the beans or the size of the beans keep it from going into the grinder. Also, you have to take it apart and clean in quite tedious ways, and frequently. The Nespresso machine might need to be decalcified occasionally but that’s it, if anything. I haven’t read the book on that one but it’s been working like a champ for a year now. The all-​in-​one is sounding and performing less than ‘day one’ condition. I can’t even find a professional to hire to service it!
Yes, Nespresso is a little ‘quick and easy’ but there IS quality there. The price of the capsules and machines are a bargain when you consider the result: quality espresso drinks. The people here live up to the name.

This location is usually busy but the staff here are always fantastic and very helpful. NATALYA is the BEST! She has helped us twice now and is very kind, informative, and goes out of her way to make sure our Nespresso experience is always pleasant. I was a little hesitant to try the tasting bar because I had never tried Nespresso before, but I am really glad that I did. They have many coffee and espresso options ranging from decaf to jet fuel, all of which have their own unique flavor and taste. I am not a coffee/​espresso expert, but Nespresso coffee and espresso really does taste better than other competitors and chain coffee shops. Needless to say I now wake up every morning to a perfect cup of coffee or espresso :)

Being able to go to a Nespresso boutique in my area to refill my pods is amazing! I don’t have to hassle with the shipping fees, and all that other online stuff. What I love about this boutique is how friendly and helpful the staff is. Right when you walk in, you’re greeted and helped by one of their employees, and they’re always happy to help you with selecting pods or new machines.
As a college student, I don’t really fit in to the general «look» of the usual Fashion Island shoppers, but the staff treats me as well as they would any other customer – which is surprising because i’ve definitely gotten the pre-​transformation Pretty Woman treatment in other stores in the shopping mall.
If you aren’t sure what pods to buy, they have a tasting counter with helpful members that can assist you in selecting the right pod flavors for you! Although I almost always leave the counter with 2 or 3 more espresso shots in me than i’d anticipated, the tasting really goes a long way.
The purchasing process is simple, just tell them what pods you want and how many, and they pull it right off the shelf for you! They also give you a recycling bad for the used pods, with a prepaid shipping label so you can mail it in without a fee.
All in all, a wonderful experience, for both Nespresso machine owners, as well as people who are looking in to purchasing a machine.

I am addicted to my machine, and I always buy pods in person, just so I can try anything new and get a free cup. The store is well stocked and very nice. The samples are provided in glass cups, which means you have to finished them in the store, as opposed to the counter at Bloomingdales where you can walk off with your sample.

Love this store and was there to purchase a travel mug and coffee. Decided on some great glasses too. Wile there my wife wanted to purchase a ten pack deal with a mug that we had not purchased when we got the latest machine. The sales lady who was very nice needed to speak to the manager to finish the sale. We waited for 20 minutes while this manager Jodie talked with another woman. The woman knew we were waiting and just kept talking. Rudest service experience I have seen in a long time. She shouldn’t be a manager much less than a salesperson. We go periodically to buy coffee, will no be back unless she is no longer there. Will reach out to Neospresso.
No one should treat any customer like that. And my wife is a sweetie!

Nice location, easy to find with free parking. Store was very clean. They had everything we wanted for our VirtuoLine + the descaler to clean our machine. Three of the four staff were very friendly & helpful (1 not so much).
CON: No place to sit down. I prefer the one in Beverly Hills which has a nice quiet little café plus a bar area with chairs for those who were «tasting». Although Beverly Hills location doesn’t really have free or convenient parking.

I stopped in here to pick up a gift for a relative. I don’t personally have a Nespresso machine since I prefer to grind my beans fresh. The store was very nice with really friendly staff. I really enjoyed their tasting bar and the employees were very helpful in choosing the right pods and a beautiful holder.
I would definitely come back the next time I need to buy a gift for someone and they have one of these machines.
