While the store is atypical of Sperry stores across the country, my kudos go to Nathan, an associate who was extremely pleasant and helpful. I came in looking for a shoe I’d seen in another state, which unbeknownst to me was discontinued. Nathan not only researched the style number for me on his cell phone, he also found a store in another state which still had it in the size I needed. He arranged for the shoe to be shipped, and followed up with a phone call to give me the tracking number. Honestly, finding the shoe and having such a pleasant sales experience was like a little Christmas magic. Many thanks to Nathan – it’s clearly his pleasure to make the customer happy. I hope management sees this! I am truly grateful.

A few months ago, my boyfriend bought me some top-siders. I LOVETHEM! About 2 weeks ago, I noticed a separation inside the left shoe. Today we took them in, showed the VERYHELPFULASSOCIATE what was going on and BOOM! He replaced my shoes right then and there — same color, same style. We were given sincere attention and amazing customer service. He even shook both my hand and my boyfriends. I will be a Sperry customer FORLIFE! THANKYOU!

Disappointing service to say the least. I walked in with my girls and a very pleasant young lady greeted us but when I asked if a pair of shoes were available in wife’s for my 3 and 4 year old girls, the young gentleman who appeared to be the manager, turned around briefly and just said, «no» and turned back around… As if we weren’t with this time. They must be doing very well with that attitude. We left even though I was in the market for some shoes.

Their product is great but the store is run by idiots. I was here today and i had to walk right up to a salesman before he acknowledged me. He was leaning on the side of the cash register like he was James Dean, while there were plenty of guests to help. I asked him if he had a particular pair and he was clueless. Plus the guy was wearing a t-shirt. He looked like he would have been washing dishes in a Fresno pancake house, Not working at Fashion Island. Experiences like this is why Zappos gets my business.

Came to Fashion Island on my way back to LA and was happy there was a Sperry store here. I was greeted as soon as I came in and the sales associate was quick to help, which was perfect because I was quick to purchase my shoes and get on my way. He helped determine which size/width would fit best and brought a few options. He was polite without being pushy, which I greatly appreciated. Decided to change out the laces that my shoes came with and the sales associate was nice enough to do it for me while I ran over to Lette to stuff my fat face.

Some of the most friendly and helpful people I’ve come across in retail. And they have the biggest selection of Sperry’s you could ever want. I came in a couple months ago because a few friends of mine had purchased a sailboat and we wanted to go out in style. The five of us walked in just knowing we wanted some boat shoes. The employees(specifically Joe and Julia) went above and beyond to get each of us the shoes we wanted. They were all pretty knowledgeable about the shoes and the brand, and I’m sure my friends are very happy that the shoes are non slip, non scuff, etc. so there will be no mishaps on their brand new boat.

I work in Fashion Island and needed some new sperrys because they are so comfortable to wear when you are on your feet all day like me. Usually I would have gone to Nordstroms but decided to give the actual store a shot. I am so glad I did. They know so much more about the company and shoes than the associates at Nordstroms. PLUS I asked one of the girls if she works off commision and none of them do. Which in my opinion is better for this store because they aren’t trying to sell you the most expensive style they have but the style that you enjoy the most. The girl was very genuine with me and helpful. I love my Sperrys!

I went here to exchange a pair of Sperry’s my brother got me for Christmas from the Sperry online store. [I wanted to see if I was able to do it at the store vs online exchanges]. I walked in, with two friends, to find three associates all at the cash registers. No one greeted us, no one came up to ask us for help as we looked around(trying to find the pair I received for X-mas), nothing! There were only two other small groups of people in the store looking around but they, too, weren’t being assisted. In fact, a group that came in after us didn’t get greeted either. So while the sales associates chatted away, I couldn’t find my shoes on display so I left. I expected a lot more choices of shoes. I’ll stick to Nordstrom’s for their customer service.
