I have thick, dark, wavy hair that can be a challenge to manage and style! Until a friend recommended me to Stephanie. Stephanie walked me through how she will cut my hair and showed me how to style it.
The first time I went to Stephanie, I was enthused but also skittish… I have a hard time changing my hair stylist but something had to change! My hair was always bulky, took forever to dry and style… getting ready for work was dreadful… Stephanie gave a completely different feel to my head of hair! I couldn’t have told her I wanted it that way because I didn’t even know it. But she figured out how to give more volume at the top where it’s needed, less bulky at the bottom, and make it look cute!
I love my hair now! It’s so much easier to style and I get compliments on it all the time!
Stephanie won me over as a client and I drive from Long Beach to get my hair done with her. Best decision I made for my hair!

I have had a lot of great hairstylists but I have to honestly say no one has taken care of mine or my family’s hair like Stephanie!
Instantly she welcomed us and treated us like part of her family. As a neighbor on the Newport peninsula, Stephanie’s door is always open to everyone anytime to stop by to say hi or drop in for a service. But the best part about Stephanie’s salon is the pride and genuine care she puts into what she does. Not only talented enough to adjust to each of my families different hair types but works with us on how to keep our hair manageable with cuts that are long lasting; saving us time and money, while looking great all the time. She has cut my hair for over a year but recently transformed my color in less than an hour, doing so with one application of color, no bleaching and very affordable pricing!
Today I stopped in a month later to make my next color appointment. She explained the way she colored it allows me to let my roots grow in longer and gave me advice on how to keep the color looking good in between. I’ve never had a hairstylist that has colored my hair in a way that makes the most economical sense. Although she has lost money on treatments that in the past I would’ve required, she has gained my friends and family’s business for good.

I had a great experience here. I decided to break away from the generic chain locations and get a cut at a real Salon, and I’m so glad that I did! Kristen cut my hair and did an amazing job. Everyone was super friendly and easy to talk to. I was getting tired of the traditional hairstyle that I’ve worn for years and I wanted a change. Kristen gave me a variety of suggestions about where to go with it. I left with a stylish haircut, feeling confident about my new look. As far as men’s haircuts go, this place is as good as it gets.

Kristen C. is a hairstylist that’s newer to the salon, but she’s not new to me. I moved down to HB 5 years ago from Westlake Village. Kristen did my hair for a few years back home, and I haven’t had good color like hers since I moved away. Now i have my hairstylist back! I didn’t realize how bad the color was that I’ve been getting since I moved until I went and saw Kristen again. When you have thin blonde hair (and not much of it) you’re always worried about the bleach frying/​breaking your hair. I never have to worry about that with he, it’s the best weave I’ve had in years. I should have been driving back to Westlake this whole time… I won’t go to anyone else again, thanks girl.

Stephanie assured my my fine thin hair would support extensions after I voiced my concern that it was to fine. She told me they would last 3 months. They lasted 3 weeks and actually I text her one week later asking her to buy them back because they showing through my hair. She never returned my call. I lost a lot of hair from the knots that developed from the extensions. It cost $ 400! Buyer beware!

Best Hair Dresser I ever had. Thank God I found Stephanie’Salon. I love the same day appointment I would recommend Stephanie’Salon to everyone that needs a new stylist. Stephanie is sweet and caring and she really listens to how you want your hair. I love my hair! I feel so good when I walk out of the salon!!!

Stephanie is AMAZING! She’s not a hairdresser, she is truly a hair artist. She knew exactly how to cut my hair to fix it after all the bad haircuts I’ve had. She even gave me a good deal.

Three of my family members and I went to Stephanie’s for haircuts and mani/​pedi. She fit us in quickly and was very nice. Stephanie did and great job on the haircuts/​color. All family members left happy. I, however, went in for the mani/​pedi. The mani/​pedi was just ok. I have never had a pedicure where you didn’t get a foot/​calf massage. To me, that is the best thing about a pedicure. My nails looked decent but I expected something great for $ 75. (It was a gel mani/​pedi). Also, no water offered, no massage chair, just not the relaxing experience I was hoping for.

First time getting a short hair cut and I LOVE it lady was nice and worked through my nervousness no regrets thank you Stephanie’s

Just walked into Stephanie’s for a haircut and came out feeling lovely! She did such a good job on the cut I decided to have a color too. Stephanie took all the brassiness out of my hair color and made me a California beach blonde babe. I love what she did, and she did it in such a reasonable amount of time and price I will definitely be back.

Stephanie is a fabulous hairstylist! She knows her stuff and made my new do off the charts rockin’! I’m new to the area and can’t say enough about her nice salon, atmosphere and above all her work. So glad I found my new stylist quickly whom I trust to make me look good :-).

I went here for the first time on Monday for a cut and color, and I am amazed at how great my hair turned out! Stephanie really knows how to work with hair, and the color turned out perfect. My hair hasn’t felt this healthy in years. I will definitely be back!

My sister and I wandered into Stephanie’s for manicures and pedicures. We stayed to have our hair cut, colored, and styled. Stephanie did an amazing job. Especially on my sister’s extra thick hair. She’s a genius.
