The Emotion Picture Studio

We were very impressed with everything about Emotion Picture Studio. They were so easy to work with. We gave them all of our wedding info and music we wanted to use through their website. They showed up to the wedding and were very professional. We hardly knew they were there. They stayed with the photographer most of the time, so when we received our video it was like seeing the pictures come to life. They captured the emotion of the wedding and receptions perfectly. They captured private moments between my husband and me that I didn’t know they captured and that I didn’t remember. It was really nice to see it on the video. I highly recommend them!

I have to say that I am overall very disappointed with our Emotion Picture Studio wedding video (Cinematic Short). The audio quality was very poor. The only person that could be heard clearly during our vows was our friend who was officiating the wedding. I was not given a microphone for my vows (which I was told I would be getting), and even my now husband who DID have a microphone can not be heard clearly on the video. During our first dance, a stationary camera was used to capture the moment. There was no videographer manning the camera, and as a result the back of my sister’s head blocked a good portion of the video. This was later edited when I asked, but of course, there was no way to completely edit it out. Finally, we were asked to provide 6 – 8 songs for the video. I had expected that a sampling of most of the songs would be used for the video. Instead, only 3 or 4 songs were used in total which made the video overall less interesting to watch. Also, our first dance (a slow number) was shown during the cinematic short with a very upbeat, club-​like song playing; it just didn’t fit the feeling of the moment. In retrospect, my husband and I should have either gotten a friend to video our wedding, or spent significantly more money on a better wedding videographer. I have tried really hard to be less disappointed with our video, but the more friends’ wedding videos I have seen, the more disappointed I have become. My video was nothing at all like the beautiful sample videos on the Emotion Picture Studio website. I am not one to leave negative reviews (in fact, I have only ever written positive reviews on Unilocal), but I absolutely cannot recommend Emotion Picture Studios to anyone.

Absolutely amazing!!! Marc and his team of videographers did an absolutely breathtaking video. They captured all the important, fun and silly moments that really made our wedding special. I love being able to work with a vendor who really will give the bride and groom as much or little direction as they want. If you are the bride that really has a clear cut vision of what you want in your video Marc and his team make sure they do that. I on the other hand felt they could piece together my cinematic short better than I could and I was absolutely right! The video brought out the emotional aspects of our special day and the fun and beauty in our event, our friends, family and each other. Completely worth the money and you wil regret not having them there to capture every moment! Plus Marc was so good I didn’t even realize he was in certain areas of the venue until I saw I to the video. That is how you know the man is good!!!

It was a pleasure doing business with Marc and The Emotion Picture Studio. This was for my daughter’s wedding in September 2013. Marc was extremely easy to work with, and professional in every way. And we are all so pleased with the video. Marc was able to capture all the meaningful moments and put it all together in a beautiful way. We just love it. We decided on the feature film (longer) style and decided to add the two song recap. That was a great choice. The longer feature film gives a great review of the entire day. The two song recap is perfect for those who just want to see all the highlights. And it was all done with music that my daughter picked out. Initially we were unsure about hiring a videographer but are so glad that we did and that we picked The Emotion Picture Studio. All in all a perfect experience!

Marc and his team were absolutely fantastic!!! They were wonderful to work with and kind and communicative. They were perfect the day of, there were no hiccups and they were so adaptive to our needs/​wishes! They created a video for us that will bring us joy for years to come! We are so grateful for their help and would highly recommend working with them. (Our family and friends loved the video too). We chose the longer version and they not only captured the moments perfectly but also put them together so beautifully! Love their work :)
