Located in the Marriott, this lounge and bar is pretty busy, fun and happening. I tried the lamb meatballs — a must if you are looking for a snack and a drink to wind down the evening. The service was also good!

Wow! What awesome service! Everyone in the bar was beyond friendly. Friday nights they have a specialty menu. Tonight was a ramen bar. Super fresh and delicious. My husband and I had the pork and my son had the shrimp. We had the homemade pork jerky for an appetizer which was also quite good as well the homemade pickles. My other son had the hamburger sliders and homemade chips and dip from the regular bar food menu. They were both very good… Sliders had bacon, cheese, Caramelized onions on kings roll buns. Good beer selection. The ramen bowls were only $ 13 – 15 each.

The average Hotel Bar. A decent amount of seating and space. They close early though(kicked us out at midnight) and the service is just okay. It is definitely convenient if you’re staying at the hotel, but wouldn’t be a good choice otherwise.

Really good margarita on the rocks. Great patio area with comfy lounge furniture. Sunset overlooking golf course and Newport harbor… awesome. Would give 5 stars, but we had to order at the bar and take drinks out to terrace. A server would have been so much nicer.

Don’t you hate being on a business trip during March Madness when your team is in it? Well lucky for me The Lounge at Sam & Harry’s had plenty of tv’s with the different games on. I was quite surprised how much this place was hustling for a hotel bar. Lots of people parked themselves in rows in front of the monitors and their drinks were definitely being filled and refilled. I wish I wasn’t there on business or else I would have parked myself in front of the tvs with everyone else for the whole day. Not a bad place to stop for a drink and bite. I’ll look forward to it the next time I’m around.

Ok. first. You are in Newport Beach. Everything is going to cost a little bit more. With that in mind here is my review. The lounge area is nice and comfy. They had a few different TVs on showing the college football games on which was nice to see. They have they nice little cozy booth types seats off to the side that are nice for private conversations. We had a couple of their mixed drinks and of course they were weak so we ordered up to glasses of Jameson. You can never go wrong doing it that way. We also ordered crab cake appetizers. They were very tasty but small. I wasn’t looking for mammoth sized cakes so I was happy with what I got. Overall, I liked the place. The waitress was super helpful. We asked her for suggestions of things to do/places to eat in the area and she was really helpful.

Walked into this joint WOW looks pretty fancy. Snagged a little table for two. Table had one of those lame fake electric candles WOW not so fancy Ordered a Rusty Nail and a Whiskey Sour Drinks came and were extremely weak and not made well WOW not so fancy Drinks were $ 10 each WOW fancy It was like a roller coaster of WOWs but the ride ended with braking off the tracks and crashing to the ground exploding into a ball of flames.
