The Decore is spectacular. The service is beyond reproach. Our server Megan couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. The only issues I have were the overpriced and extremely small portions of the appetizers. We had the oysters Rockefeller and the scallops. The wedge salad was also underwhelming. The New York steak was excellent and done perfectly. The coconut cake was a real surprise as it was extremely tasteful.

This place was very nice. Service was awesome, they have been trained very well. Food was great, happy horses on Saturday is always grateful. Beautiful location. And nice restrooms :) I recommend this place completely

I had dinner here last week and it was a great experience. The view is beautiful and the food was amazing! I had a Caesar salad and the bone-in filet(it came with foie gras butter on top). I eat a lot of steak, and this was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The service was top notch and the manager was also very kind. My whole party was very pleased with our meals here.

I’m amazed! The restaurant gets better every time I visit. 5 stars for all the wonderful additions! The entire staff is always friendly and thoughtful. To be recognized and welcomed in a way that makes you feel special for just being there is always a plus. The décor is absolutely gorgeous with an elegant and sexy vibe to it inside and out, just a cool place to have a beautiful weekend brunch or a nice dinner. The patio is open and gorgeous with new updates… I can’t wait to finally come back for the bottomless mimosa and bloody mary. Now for the food… I was informed by staff and management that many more exciting items are coming. The general manager Kenyon was nice enough to stop by and chat about the menu. It’s just nice to be reassured and she was so pleasant to talk to. Always love love love the boned in filet, prime New York strip, cioppino, seabass, and The Ritz egg has grown on me with the right glass of champagne. Mahi Mahi being a newer item was done very well with a Hawaiian flare and touch of sweetness to it. Artic char was not my style and definitely missing the branzino… maybe once in a while they will have it as the market fish… And the mac and cheese! I can’t even remember the cheeses they put in, they sound so exotic and it was delicious! Lobster risotto is rich and savory which is why I always get the roasted vegetables to balance out the sides. We are always so full by the time we r even thinking about desserts… and here’s the trick: You order their coconut cake that tastes more like lemon passionfruit fluffy goodness and take the cake to go after getting couple good bites in without hurting yourself. Love it. Excited about it. Can’t wait til we are back again.

My family and I had brunch at The Ritz today and it was fabulous. We started with a few hand crafted cocktails at the bar and the bartender Sean was so professional. The drinks were amazing and to top it off it was happy hour and the prices were very reasonable for what they were… for four handmade drinks were about $ 40 which doesn’t happen in newport too often. Then we sat for brunch and the food was delicious. They also offered bottomless champs and Bloody Mary bar for I think $ 20 — such a good deal. After brunch we went to the patio and our day continued. For our meal and cocktails we had James and Jennifer as our severs and they were the best! We continue to love this place! I cannot believe more people weren’t there today… it should be the new hotspot!

My dining experience here was absolutely divine. From the moment my dining companion walked in the door to the first bite that passed through my lips I was absolutely delighted. The bar tender(Jason) made us superb concoctions that were destine for the new drinks list. I thought nothing could top the New York steak, which was cooked to perfection, or the trout until the dessert came out. The banana gelato was refreshing and the slice of cake we shared was rich with the perfect amount of citrus zing… I will not pass an opportunity to recommend The Ritz to anyone even remotely near by.

Had brunch after church with friends. We were hesitant as no one else was in the place, however we braved it and had the most amazing food and service! Two of us had lobster Benedict and the other had the bison burger. Best decision ever to stop here! I have read negative reviews of this place in the past and was very leery when the place was empty, however later on people started filling up the restaurant. Jessica Leonard was our hostess and did an amazing job of meeting our needs! Can’t recommend this place highly enough, we will definitely be back!!!

Originally I had planned a brunch at the rusty pelican, after some miscommunication and no brunch being served the day my group of girls and I headed over to the Ritz. I AMSOGLADWEDID. The décor is great, service is impeccable, food is delicious and mimosas have a variety of flavors. I can’t wait to come back here again it’s definitely one of the best brunches I’ve had and I’m looking forward to trying their lunch, dinner and happy hour.

Amazing restaurant, from the minute you walk in, you get the feeling you’re entering a yacht! The vibe is super nice, the views of the harbor as well !! The food is simply Ahhhh-mazing!!! Tried the Ritz with friends first, everyone was in love with the menu so many good appetizers so many ideas for entrées as well as the to die for dessert !! We loved the chocolate cake that was paired with raspberry ice cream We came back in for a Sunday brunch and fell even more in love, this time with the lobster Benedict, scrumptious is the word to describe how good it was, the martinis very good too !! Totally recommend the Ritz !!

Great deals during happy hour. Maybe should know better than to order steak in a seafood place, but… shouldn’t a $ 50+ piece of meat be OK? Two of us ordered medium and had to send back to get them pink. Plus, had to flag somebody down to accomplish that.(Service started well but became inatentive after orders were delivered.) Fish eaters were happy(scallops, sea bass, mahi-mahi) Portions were moderate. Sides were OK Short ribs very nice. Not good value for money($ 175 per couple including drinks and tips) Sure miss the old Ritz!!!

Bad service, just look around and the employees are eating, bantering with each other or over conversing about personal life. The wine selection is good, the food is bad and the drinks are over poured,(some people may like that) however my guests always leave intoxicated. I have been many times and never could rave about it. The nice part is the atmosphere and the music when they have it and the musician is not on extended breaks.

Lovely facilities! Fabulous views of Newport Harbor! Food? Seafood salad was served by Matt, I got no seafood in my serving at $ 28 I thought I should get at least a shrimp In it! Nice greens like the ones I grow! Fish stew was so salty that I ate a little and gave the rest to my husband who eats everything! He loved his fish and it did look nice! On by the way if you have any leftovers be sure to box them yourself, you certainly don’t get to take home the original amount unless it’s the creamed kale! Will we be back? Don’t think so! Our waiter had to be found each time we wanted something!

Food was horrible. Ambience was nice so was the service. Don’t come here expecting a decent meal. Our creamed corn came out after we finished our meal and corn was still raw. For the price you’re paying, go to Mastro’s.

Love this place!.. Food is scrumptious. Never been disappointed. The tequila and egg Pch drinks. Completely Unique and fun!.. Don’t go expecting to feel like the old Ritz Resteraunt in fashion island. It’s NOT the same place and it’s not supposed to. It’s completely different. Gorgeous view, love all the bartenders and servers. The hostesses are all beautiful, and love the manager. They are always very friendly with great service and fun attitudes. Love the the oyster seafood bar, and incredible entrée dishes, . Come check this place out!

I love love love The Ritz. I have to admit going into the reservation and after reading the reviews(which I never do before eating somewhere for the first time) I was kind of standoffish. We went on a Tuesday while visiting the LA area and was immediately blown away by the décor of the restaurant. It is absolutely GORGEOUS. The décor is very chic and understated, which was very surprising considering the storefront isn’t too much to speak of. We were greeted immediately by the smiling hostess who welcomed us win a genuine smile. She took her time when walking us to our seats, and engaged us in conversation while doing so. Nice touch. Our server Anthony was Amazing. Coming from me that is not an easy compliment to get out of me. Being that I’m in the industry and just an all around curmudgeon, I usually tend to find more faults than good. But I can really appreciate that he was attentive and engaging, without being overbearing. Also kuddos to the servers and support staff as they worked well together. We even had another server to come over to help us to take pictures and joke around. Now the food. Being that it was later in the evening we didn’t want to go too heavy. So we shared a first course and each had an entrée. Grilled oysters with brown sugar butter. Great! Just the right amount of spice and just a subtle hint of smoke. I got the Wagyu short rib and cauliflower 2 ways. The short ribs were cooked to perfection. Beautiful texture, I picked my knife up only once but that was out of habit. Great flavors. The cauliflower was presented beautifully. Puréed to a velvety texture. And heirloom florets cooked to a perfect crunch. Mauricio the manager made a point to stop by our table, and was a pure joy to talk to. I can’t wait to return whenever I’m in the area. It was even worth the 45 minute drive in traffic from LAX.

We came for happy hour and we were not disappointed! Only would of been nice to have more of a selection of wine and bubbles! Service was great very attentive and everything was described perfectly! Best item by far on the Happy Hour menu was the Surf&Turf roll w/truffles decadent combination just lovely! The pork belly was a surprise not what I was expecting but good balance and cooked perfectly. The oysters on the half shell were fresh and served in a nice presentation! The ambiance in the outside lounge was very relaxing with a beautiful view and heat lamps above as it is getting chillier here! The coconut cake was a perfect ending so decadent and delightful, just way too big for 2 ! Good news we had some to take home!!! Will have to go back and try dinner menu!!! Happy to have a new place in the OC with great service and outstanding food!
