Incredible donuts, far better than any of the big chains(including Krispy Kreme). I’m not really into the insane amounts of toppings available but it’s a nice option. Some of the equipment wasn’t working when I went so I wasn’t able to try a hot dog, but the guy there was closing up so he gave me a bunch of extra donuts. They also have Caribou Coffee, which is great. Support them now, I don’t want them ever going out of business.

I love these donuts so much and I always stop here when I’m running late for work because everyone I work with loves them too. I have ate so many of these donuts one morning I made myself sick I don’t know if that’s something good to put into a review but it’s the truth. I enjoy them plain(that’s how good they are) but they have all these topping so great like sooooo great.

I love this place, and I love the donuts! I prefer the regular ones with just sugar and cinnamon. My husband and son love the dipping sauces, so the variety offered here is perfect for our family during weekend treat mornings. Also– the owner is locally based and has helped me carry food to my car when I have my toddler. I really appreciate that.

I was skeptical when I saw that they don’t make traditional donuts, but I’m glad I decided to finally try some of the shaken minis today. I went the classic route, ordering the shaken with cinnamon and sugar. They were delicious. Not light and melt-in-your mouth like KK, but a bit more dense and rich. Satisfying nonetheless. And always hot & fresh! One suggestion I would have is to offer smaller portions of the shaken minis– say 3 or 6 instead of just a dozen. I really just wanted a taste, so I found the portion to be a bit much. Both times I’ve been I’ve found the owner to be pleasant. The fact that he was open today with a pretty decent winter storm speaks to his dedication. The first time I went I was only getting a gift card, but stopped in on a whim today after the Hot & Ready Light was turned off at KK. I’m sure I’ll be back. This is the type of local joint I love to support!

Took my family to try their tasty mini donuts and ordered some of the powdered one’s and a donut bowl. I will be back, especially now that they also serve Hot Dogs on Demand. I also like to support local businesses.

I was pretty skeptical about this place when a friend told me about it. We went anyway and upon arrival the facility looked clean, well maintained. The toppings looked very interesting. The gentleman working there gave us a sample and the donuts were delicious! We ordered 1 shaker and 1 with smores. This place totally blew my mind! The donuts themselves reminded me of home(where we have a guy who makes his own little donuts but only with three shaker toppings) so it was a perfect place to find. I highly recommend this place to everyone who’ll listen!

His doughnut bowls are soft sweet and delicious It’s a local business which is great and I try to support them as much as possible. Considering I’m about 2 mins away in car, but there are many options as to top you doughnuts with. Worth it quiet and good.

A quality, local place to get custom mini donuts. They have a lot of different toppings and icings. They Do Not have indoor or outdoor seating, it’s more of a to-go place. The man that took our order was quiet, but nice. Overall, a good experience, and always a pleasure to support a local business! The food quality was good. Their«doughnut bowls» are what they’re known for, but they do have other ways to prep their mini doughnuts, including dipped and shaken. If they had a more inviting atmosphere with seating, if say that would push them to a 5-star review. Glad we went!

Two words: Doughnut Nachos. Now some of you are thinking that sounds amazing. And some of you are probably disgusted, but that’s because you’re wrong. We’re not talking nachos with meat, cheese, and salsa. We’re talking nachos with a doughnut base, blue berries, powdered sugar, and and maple icing. Or any of the other hundreds of combinations for you to drown your doughnuts in. Doughnuts on Demand is a bulk doughnut café. What this means is that you order in batches of a dozen smaller doughnut. The restaurant itself is bright and clean with tables available. The setting is fine, though I wouldn’t call it a place to sit and relax. I believe most orders are to go. The website makes it very easy to place an order and pick it up at your leisure. Before anything else, let me mention the doughnuts themselves. The mini doughnuts they serve are above average in quality. They are airy and sweet while still being firm enough to handle the truck load of toppings I decided to add. They won’t wow you, but as a vehicle for topping delivery, they’re great. Said toppings are the life of the party. They offer three ways to order your doughnuts. Shaken, for dunking, and doughnut bowls. Shaken allows for an order of doughnut with either powdered sugar, cinnamon and sugar, or a half and half of both. Simple, but tasty. Those for dunking offer you the choice from five separate sauces like chocolate and lemon. for me, the greatest creation is the doughnut bowl. They basically use the doughnut as a base and ladle on the toppings you like. From walnuts and graham crackers to maple-bacon glaze and Oreos, if you have a will, there’s a way. And I’m sure that most of you will be relatively conservative with your orders, but if you’re like me, you’ll be happy to gorge yourself on a splattered mess of doughnut covered in sugar. Eat at your own risk.

I was craving for good donuts and looked up donut shops on Unilocal. This place popped up with the highest rating so I decided to check it out. I sure am glad I did! When I walked in, the man behind the counter greeted me and asked me if this was my first time. I told him it was and he proceeded to give me a small donut shaken with cinnamon sugar to taste. And it was delicious! I decided to just go with that sample so I ordered a dozen and a cup of coffee. They had many different ways to dress up your donut, but I’m a bit old fashioned so I preferred something that wasn’t so extreme and loaded with toppings. And the pricing? Amazing! It’s not so crazy expensive(like in SF, sorry, but it’s true! I still love you SF!) But next time I come in, definitely will try the other ones!

I had spent the night before in Newport News and was looking for a quick breakfast on my way out of town and I had to try this place as I have a weakness for doughnuts. While there I opted for full blown gluttony. In this case it took the form of a maple bacon doughnut bowl with chocolate sauce thrown in for good measure. As well, I was craving both chocolate and bacon, so why not go all in? I can’t say I exactly loved the gooey doughnut meal as it’s hard to remember much of it as I devoured it all so quickly. It was as though with every bite my brain kept yelling«MORE! MORE! MORE!» I think for the sake of my health, I’m lucky we don’t have a Doughnuts on Demand where I live. For the record, the place carries a selection of different Caribou Coffee brews, which although not as exciting as finding a cool independent coffee shop, it’s pretty solid coffee. Overall I was quite pleased with the food.

Nice little shop, only one guy working. The donuts themselves are wonderful very buttery and fluffy, not stiff like other shops. The presentation is nice. However; despite how good the donuts are service was terrible. The guy was very arrogant and snooty. Myself and 2 other gentlemen(that I did not know) walked in were studying the menu. He asked have any of us been there before we all said no. He then tried to shove a bag with a sample donut in it Into our hands. We all looked at each other a bit confused but ignored the way he went about getting us to test them. When 1 gentlemen tried to ask a question about toppings the man cut him off mid sentence and said it’s on the board. Rude right? The other gentleman asked if they had plain glazed donuts the guy stated«if you want just plain dozen donuts why did you come here. Go to a 711 or dunkin donuts down the street? «When i asked about adding strawberries to my order. He insisted on adding jam vs actual strawberries. I continued to ask for regular strawberries he stated«no you said topping this is a topping» so then I just asked to cancel the strawberry thing altogether. Terrible customer service. If he knew how to talk to people and was more pleasant I could give more stars.

This is a little, very clean shop. There was only one guy working there, so things were slow, but these were very fresh donuts and each batch was done a different way, so it is totally understandable that things ran a bit slowly. You can get your donuts with many, many options as far as fillings, toppings and syrups. If you don’t want something super sweet they did offer egg/bacon breakfast bowls here. I would definitely come back, although you will want to get there on the earlier side.

You can go one of two routes at DoD:(1) Simple, cinnamon-sugar coated fresh doughnuts or, my favorite route,(2) sweet, sweet gluttony. The doughnuts are small by Dunkin-Krispy standards; about 2 inches in diameter, but they pack a lot of deliciousness. The standard bag of doughnuts shaken with cinnamon and sugar are great. They’re light and airy and devoured in minutes. How DoD really comes from your arteries is with their bowls. A bowl is a to-go container sized portion of fresh doughnuts covered, drizzled, dipped, and bathed in whatever concoction of toppings and syrups you desire. DoD has several ideas ready for you, my personal favorites are the Boston Cream and Cookies & Cream, but I’m determined to try the Caramel Apple and Maple-Bacon Glaze. DoD might be a little out of the way for most folks. It’s located down Jefferson, heading towards Ft. Eustis. It’s worth the trip. They also serve Caribou Coffee, which I haven’t seen much of around here, so that was a pleasant surprise.

This place is awesome! The man who runs the shop is exceptionally nice, and the doughnuts are amazing. You have so many options to choose from, stemming from syrup flavors for your coffee to all the toppings to create your own doughnuts. My favorite is the Boston crème doughnut bowl. This little shop won’t dissapoint.

Well, I’ll never go to Dunkin’ again. This gem of a doughnut shop is absolutely darling! It is immaculate, bright and the menu boards are so helpful. For coffee, they have a BYOB policy — Be Your Own Barista! The man behind the counter was fantastic and explained how the menu works and how the doughnuts are made fresh to order three different ways: shaken(in cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar), for dipping, and doughnut bowls. I chose the bowl, because how could I NOT? There are sooooo many toppings you can get for the doughnut bowls(2,900+ combinations if my memory serves me well). Maple Bacon is an option, just throwing that out there! I got the Boston Crème Pie doughnut bowl because I wasn’t ready to venture into my own topping adventure. I took these home instead of eating in, about 15 minutes later and I was not disappointed! Holy Toledo, it was delectable! Still warm and tasted great with coffee(naturally). I absolutely recommend trying Doughnuts on Demand. Yummm.

What a great little place. You can get doughnuts in over 2,000 ways. Yes, that’s correct, over 2,000 ways. The doughnuts are served warm since they are fresh. You get the doughnuts by the dozen only but they are small. Perfect for two not for the office. They do offer a discount if you want to bring few dozen to the office. Visit this place and experience it for yourself. It’s worth going there at least once. You’ll be hooked.
