it’s good. the kids behind the counter are nice and efficient at moving the line along. I much prefer to patronize places like this vs large franchise or corporate ice cream establishments. the espresso mixed with sweet cream was very yummy.

Cute little place in a good area. Clean with friendly staff with lots of flavor combinations.

First time here but I have been to other homemade ice cream shops with mix ins. The unique flavors offered in these kinds of places is a nice change from the original classics. After walking the pond, eating lunch I decided to solidfy the«coolest mom ever» title with ice cream. Totally excited as the sign on the door says certain days(TODAY) kids before 1(12:53 present time) can get a $ 1.99 kids cup with one topping!!! We had just watched the free summer movie at The Paragon, yeah us! Free movie = $ 1.99 ice cream, lol! It was empty until I started reading all the flavors instead of tasting everything with people piling behind me I settled on pistachio with cookie dough. Just as I was finishing my ice cream and considering tasting all flavors after the fact more people came in. One person working seemed to deal well if the short bursts of customers. He was polite and patient. Nice pit stop for an after movie treat. Was a little pricey for small and 2 kid cups, but was a nice treat! ;)

The ice cream is fine but the service is comically slow. Its actually so bad that I recommend people go there and see if for themselves, and we can have a laugh about it afterwords. As far as the food, they have plenty of flavors and toppings and I have not had anything bad. If the service was good I would probably stop by once and a while.

It’s not appropriate for employers to discipline staff in front of customers unless there is some sort of emergency or if the staff is making a super poor decision. Perhaps that’s just my perspective, but it’s something I believe. Last time I was at Maggie Moo’s, the owner who looked like an older Korean lady, got very angry at the high school kid scooping my husband’s ice cream. She ran over and said«too much! Cut in half! You don’t give them too much!», directly in front of us. It was VERY awkward. I felt bad for the poor HS kid. She grabbed the scooper out of his hand, yanked the cup of ice cream and cut some of it off the top to put back in the freezer(which is also a health code violation I believe– cross contamination?). Like others have mentioned, the ice cream is good, but pricey and certainly not worth that mess.

Very good homemade ice cream. Heads up though, they are very expensive. The cups are all the same size. If you get a specialty item(like ice cream with a few toppings) it is the same price as just a scoop of plain ice cream with no toppings! Almost $ 6 for a small cup. It is a nice place to go occasionally, but that’s about it. They also have a rewards program, but you have to spend $ 50 before you get the free item.

Excellent service and quality treats, without the obnoxious singing they do over at Cold Stone. A little pricey though…

It was nice cool evening so, we made a stroll around the city center and that’s when we came across this place. Still open at 10:30pm Great! It was pretty pack. The staff was very nice letting me sample whatever flavors I wanted. I finally settled for the berries low fat yogurt with fresh blueberries and raspberries toppings. If you ever been to Cold Stone ice cream it’s pretty much that same concept. My friend had the pomegranate smoothie and they use fresh fruits! None of that fruit syrup flavoring like that other smoothie place do. I’ll be headed back if ever I’m in the area.

I have been to Maggie Moos several times in other places, but this was my first time back in a while. I mean it is ice cream, you cannot really go wrong and it all tastes amazing. I ordered ice cream that had some mix ins and wanted it in a cone, but it came out to be more melted than i expected. I went there 3 times in the week i stayed in this area so obviously I was a fan. Most of the workers there are younger and in high school, but I cant complain since they got me what i wanted. A good place to get some dessert if you are craving one!

The ice cream here is inconsistent. The first couple of times we came we liked the dark chocolate. Other times the chocolate was not well mixed and had a dark chocolaty ripple. The vanilla flavor was overpowering. The staff hasn’t been very friendly during any of the visits.

Pretty good. Like Cold Stone. It’s all about the location here. Good place to grab a cone and walk around. They have some outdoor seating which is great.

Very expensive. Similar to coldstone. Menu was overwhelming and confusing. The staff was friendly. Limited parking. The ice cream was okay.

Very good just expensive. Thirteen dollars for two medium cups. Luckily they have a punch card for rewards. But I can spend four bucks for a half gallon at grocery store. Very tasty though. Will continue to support this local business.

Just ok. Doesn’t quite fire on all cylinders. They do the Coldstone mix-in thing.

Delicous ice-cream, pick your toppings and they will mix it for you.
