We had our first barbecue in Virginia here and it was a great experience! While I believe Georgia pulled pork is superior and Texas BBQ is better than any in the nation, the ‘cue here was pretty good. The complimentary hush puppies were delicious and the amount of choices of sides was outstanding(fries, applesauce, macncheese, and the list goes on). Our waitress was exemplary too. She saw my baby drop her pacifier on the ground and offered to wash it off for me. When she brought it back it was hot. I’m in no way a germaphobe, but the fact she washed it in steaming hot water was a little sign that she cared and takes the extra step in making the customers happy. Also worth mentioning– Mondays are buy 1 barbeque plate, get the 2nd half off!
