Andria Bird Bride

My experience with Andi could not have been more perfect. She knew exactly what dress to try on me and even though I had come to try on something different she was totally right and I went with her suggestion. She also made the accessories for myself and my bridesmaids and they were beyond beautiful. She is attentive, fun and has impeccable taste. She helped me through the entire process including the alterations and any time I needed her she got right back to me. I’m only sad my wedding is over and I don’t get to visit with Andi anymore!

I’ll happily throw another five-​star review in the bucket — this store is a Newport gem.
Andria has edited an amazing collection of unique gowns for modern brides. There were plenty of options for brides looking for something a little rustic and breezy (like me) but there were also lots of dresses that would fit fancier affairs (this is Newport after all). Andria was responsive, supportive, sweet, and put absolutely no pressure on us, which is really all I could have asked for in a bridal boutique experience. Like other reviewers, we had the whole shop to ourselves, which made us feel taken care of and special (i.e., how you want to feel when you’re trying on wedding dresses).
A testament to how much I adored my experience here: I found a dress I loved at a popular NYC bridal boutique (:cough: Lovely: cough:), but I had such a crappy experience there, I messaged Andria to see if I could somehow buy that same dress through her.
I ultimately bought a gown elsewhere, but I really can’t say enough about Andria and her shop.
Also good to know: she designs her own line of belts and hair pieces, all of which are gorgeous and fun to try on with all of the gowns in the store!

Andria Bird Bride is an adorable bridal boutique! Anyone looking for a unique dress that no one else will have should definitely visit this store. Andria was very friendly and accommodating– she was able to meet me early on a Saturday morning on short notice.
She runs the shop herself, so you have the whole store to yourself during your appointment. My bridesmaid and I loved chatting with her and trying on her «fairy-​like» dresses.
Other highlights: no pressure to buy on the spot, all the dresses are made in the USA with high quality materials, lovely experience.

I was a bit of a non-​traditional bride, so I was very intimidated and nervous about walking into a bridal shop. I can’t explain how wonderful it was to have such a down-​to-​earth experience at Andria Bird Bride. I traveled to the shop to try on a specific dress from Whitney Deal, and when I wasn’t happy with it, that left me with no idea of what I wanted. Right away, Andi knew exactly what she wanted me to try next, which ended up being my dream dress (that worked within my very modest budget, too).
Very nice selection of independent dresses, and gorgeously designed belts and jewelry. I’m so grateful that I found this shop — I can’t imagine having gone anywhere else.

My visit to Andria Bird was everything a once-​in-​a-​lifetime bridal shopping experience should be.
The shop is a small gem, and every item inside is absolutely beautiful. The place has a whimsical, feminine atmosphere, and is located on a narrow street downtown, surrounded by charming, historic New England buildings.
Andria Bird sells independent designers with simple silhouettes made with love from the best quality fabric. It is one of the only shops in the country that carries Whitney Deal gowns, so that alone was worth the drive from Maine to Rhode Island.
When an unexpected snow storm threw a wrench in my travel plans, Andi opened her shop early so that I could get back to Maine before the snow hit. I appreciated that she was mindful of my budget and didn’t bring me items that were out of my range. She gave her honest opinion, and offered helpful suggestions for how to style my gown. Her down-​to-​earth personality made me feel really comfortable.
In addition to dresses, Andi carries accessories that she designs and makes herself– sashes, veils, and hair adornments. I ended up finding the most perfect sash and halo to complement my dress.
I couldn’t be happier!
